Luke 1:5-23; 57-79

Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist

Imagine not being able to speak for 9 months (40 weeks) then you answer a question, “What is your son’s name?” You break from tradition by naming your son John which shakes up the whole countryside and then the gospel comes forth from your lips.

There is a message there. God is not a God of tradition but of salvation, renewal, mercy who has given us the privilege to serve Him without fear in holiness and rightousness in His presence all our days.

THAT IS WHAT JESUS DID FOR US! HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Did you catch that? It is a privilege to serve Him.

Thank God for the privilege to serve Him and then ask for opportunity to share the gospel.
