Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other. — Deuteronomy 4:39
For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe. — Deuteronomy 10:17
Amen. Know it to be true today.

“Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons. — Deuteronomy 4:9
You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. — Deuteronomy 11:19
Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he is old he will not depart from it. — Proverbs 22:6
Do you have a testimony to share? Is God alive in your life? Do you walk with Him daily? Have you seen the power of God working in you through His Word?
We have lost the power of a testimony in our world. If God is alive and working in our lives we are commanded to not forget what our eyes have seen and to not let them depart from our hearts but to tell of them. Let us pass the legacy of Jesus Christ onto our children and grandchildren by telling them of the great and wonderful things He has done in our lives. But don’t stop there. Tell everyone. You could be encouraging a brother/sister or introducing Jesus to someone. Let us not be silent.

“But the Lord is in His holy temple.
[a]Let all the earth be silent before Him.” — Habakkuk 2:20
[a] Lit Hush before Him, all the earth*
Will you be still and silent before the Lord God today in reverent worship?

is it not enough for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the rest of the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them; — Numbers 16:9
Is it not enough for you or too little for you? How do you feel about where God has you serving now? Do you believe you deserve more or better? Are you so righteous and holy that you should dictate where, when and how you should serve?
There have been many who have fallen because their ministry has become theirs and not God’s anymore. They have reached that righteousness level where dependence upon God is not priority. A bad place to be but all of us are capable of going there.
On a personal note: one of my greatest fears is that my head will swell thinking that the ministry given to me by God has anything to do with me. I express this to the Lord all the time and pray that He keeps me humble. (That’s another one of those prayers like asking for patience).
The warning is found in Numbers 16. If you are serving the Lord God I recommend you read this chapter.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. — Matthew 16:4-5
Have you found life in Christ? Lose yourself in Him and you will find life.

‘You shall not make for yourselves idols, nor shall you set up for yourselves an image or a sacred pillar, nor shall you place a figured stone in your land to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God. You shall keep My sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary; I am the Lord. — Leviticus 26:1-2
Hoping you are keeping the Sabbath today and showing reverence to our Lord in His sanctuary.
Seek the Lord and His strength, Seek His face continually.
