Part of My Morning Reading

Psalm 130:1-4

Out of the depths I call to You, Yahweh!
Lord, listen to my voice;
let Your ears be attentive
to my cry for help.

Yahweh, if You considered sins,
Lord, who could stand?
But with You there is forgiveness,
so that You may be revered.

Proverbs 28:13

The one who conceals his sins
will not prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them
will find mercy.

1 Peter 1:3-4

Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that is imperishable,uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.

What a blessing, encouragement and hope for the day.

I Love The Way You Love Me

While rummaging through some old paperwork I found this poem I wrote a couple years ago. . .

Lord, I love the way You love me,                  You are so good to me.                                       I love the way You love me                             For eternity.

God, I love the way You love me,                    In the way that You direct.                              God, I love the way You love me,                    Always to protect.

God, I love the way You love me.                     You’ve always got my back.                             I love the way You love me.                             In You I never lack.

God, You are amazing                                      That You would love even me,                        So much that You would send                        Your Son to Calvary.

Jesus, I love the way You love me                   In Your faithfulness so true.                             Jesus, I love the way You love me,                   Help me to be faithful too.

Continually seeking Him,

Sharon

Clutter

A friend was writing about piles of clutter in your house. The longer it sits around the more it just becomes a part of the decor, it blends in and becomes unnoticeable.

This reminded me of sin. If we aren’t aware of sin it piles up so much that we don’t notice until we are so deep in the muck and mire that we can’t see our way out and wonder how we got there.

Focusing everyday on Jesus, being in His Word, talking to Him, and putting action to His commands and ways can keep the clutter away.

Set you your mind on the things above; keep seeking the things above. Colossians 3:1-3
