Prayer For You

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:14‭-‬19 NASB

🌹I am praying God will use this prayer for you today. Even though I may not know you, God does, and I hope this prayer of blessing is bestowed on you.

Thankful For . . . Day 5

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalms 107:1 NASB

The day after reflecting on “Thanksgiving”, celebrating with family and/or friends, what have you come to know about your blessings? God blesses us, and let all the earth fear Him.
Psalms 67:7 NASB

Knowing God is the source of all blessings, should we not “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name? Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted?” Praise the Lord in song? He has done excellent things; Let this be known throughout the earth.
Isaiah 12:4‭-‬5 NASB

🌷Dear God, as we enter into the season of celebrating the most significant and glorious gift ever given to mankind, may our thankful hearts remember to exalt You, the giver of abundant blessings, and make known the wonderful, life giving deeds of a child born in Bethlehem. With a thankful heart I pray that this Christmas season will bring multiple opportunities to share the everlasting lovingkindness of our God and why we celebrate Jesus, in whose name I pray, amen.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

Thankful For . . . Day 4

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Psalms 103:1‭-‬4 NASB

Lord, may we not forget the cross and the outpouring of love that came from that tragic day. May we, as many celebrate this Thanksgiving Day, remember the blessings that came to us in the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name. Amen.
1 Chronicles 29:13 NASB

🌹O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
1 Chronicles 16:34 NASB

Why Proclaim the Gospel?

Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
Psalms 104:1 NASB

Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.
Psalms 96:2‭-‬3 NASB

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Mark 16:15 NASB

🌹They (I) shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. Amen.
Psalms 145:11‭-‬13 NASB

Dry Bones?

Thus says the Lord God to these bones, ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”
Ezekiel 37:5‭-‬6 NASB

I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life,
Ezekiel 37:14a NASB

Wouldn’t it be wonderful for God to use us to make His name known? One day everyone will know that God is Lord! His name will be known despite us!

I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.” ’
Ezekiel 38:23 NASB

“My holy name I will make known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not let My holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.
Ezekiel 39:7 NASB

🌹Do we want to miss out on the joy, the intimacy, the awe and wonder of God’s work, the strength, peace, and understanding of the Holy One? Are we shining the Light, Jesus, in the world or are we dry bones needing revived?
I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.” ’
Ezekiel 38:23 NASB

O God of My Praise

But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 4:23‭-‬24 NASB

🌹My flesh is unworthy to worship You O God of my praise!! I will put no confidence in my flesh to worship and praise You but will worship You in spirit. I fear You Lord and desire to serve You in truth with all my heart; as I consider what great thing Jesus, my Savior, did on the cross for me. But He returned to You Father and the Holy Spirit was sent! What great things You have done for me. I can truly worship You in Spirit and truth because Your Holy Spirit abides in me. I can truly say what great things You have done for me O God of my praise! Amen.
Philippians 3:3/1 Samuel 12:24/John 16:7 NASB

Church

They come to you as people come, and sit before you as My people and hear your words, but they do not do them, for they do the lustful desires expressed by their mouth, and their heart goes after their gain.
Ezekiel 33:31 NASB

Church. Where does church lie on our priority list? What draws us each week to attend?

Do we come as God’s people hungry for the Word of God to feast on and digest throughout the day, the week and follow in obedience? Are our hearts strengthened to be steadfast toward our God? Are we walking faithful in His word?
When we gather in the Sanctuary before our Lord, do we draw near with our words and honor God with our lip service, but remove our hearts far from God? Does our reverence toward God consist of tradition learned by repetition, habit, routine, becoming mechanical?
Psalms 78:36‭-‬37/Isaiah 29:13 NASB

🌹We are missing out on the awesome power and movement of the Holy Spirit during Church if we are not completely there in body, heart, soul seeking to draw near to God and be revived for a week of walking obediently with our Lord.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon
