“For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother.” Matthew12:50.

Read this I can’t tell you how many times but this morning it hit me like a rock. We are not part of the family with Jesus unless we are doing the will of the Father. I’ve been meditating on this for a bit and am overwhelmed by this statement.

What is the will the Father? The Bible tells me.

How many are reading it to know? How many professing Christians don’t know? How many are seeking in prayer confirmation of the Word in them? How many are seeking to know, desiring to obey and are actually brothers, sisters, mothers of Christ.

Wow, conviction here. Am I seeking God’s will? Am I being obedient? Am I truly part of the family of God that Jesus is? Just thinking and pouring it out.
