How does one come to know another? I mean really know someone. Isn’t it spending time with them? Time spent learning what they like, dislike? What brings them joy, what makes them angry? “What makes them tick?” It’s being willing to also be known ourselves?
Do you know Jesus Christ? Do you take time to know His likes, dislikes; what brings Him joy, or disappointment? Do you spend time letting Jesus know what’s happening in your life? Your likes? Your dislikes? Your disappointments? Your joys?
Do you wonder how you can do this? Well, reading the Word of God and praying will help. It will open your eyes to know God. A real and personal relationship with your Creator.
Your life depends on knowing that you know, that you know . . . God.
🌹“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
