🙏 God, You are my place of shelter, protection, and safety. You are my refuge. What have I to fear? I put my trust in You. Drawing near to You has been so, so good for me. ¹I draw near to hear Your instruction, heed Your word, trust in Your Word, and to be near to You, Lord God. Walking with You has opened my eyes to the wonder of You. I can’t help but speak of Your wonders. Use me Lord God for Your glory and purpose. I desire to speak of Your glorious work in me, a sinner saved by grace, for Your purpose and glory. Amen.

I usually like to share scripture of praise on Fridays. This week I was led to Psalm 145. I have to tell you, I felt very convicted.

Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.

Everyday? Do I?

One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.

On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.

Do we? Is this daily or just on Sunday?

Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness.

Do we? Ever? Occasionally? Everyday?

They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.

Do we? Or is this another, just on Sunday thing?

All Your works shall give thanks to You, O Lord, And Your godly ones shall bless You.

How often in a day do we give thanks to our Lord? Do we bless Him?

They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.

This one hits hard. Do we speak of our Lord to others? If only . . .

My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.

Our God is faithful despite our ways. Let us call upon His mercy and tell of His greatness, power and truth. May He move through us for His glory.

Do you ever ponder the wonders God has performed in your life? Are you aware of the times He has intervened on your behalf; the blessings He has poured out on you? Do you vocalize it with praise and thanksgiving to God? Do you share with others so they may know His wonders?

🌹Testimonies of the wonders of God in your life are a marvelous way to bring the wonders of God to others.

Have a blessed weekend making memories with God at the center of all you say and do.

Until I Declare

My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long.

Do you ever experience this Psalmist’s elation? Does it last all day long? Is your everyday life filled with praise to God? As you meditate (think on) all that God has done for you, what is your response to God and what are you motivated to do? Hopefully it is to do as this psalmist did. . .

And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come. For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?

🌹Praise God for His righteousness and the great things He has done!!! I will declare!
