This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty, Covering Yourself with light as with a cloak, Stretching out heaven like a tent curtain. My soul will bless You, Lord! God, You are Light in whom there is no darkness and no variation or shifting shadow. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from You, the Father of lights! Father, thank You for sending Jesus, the Light that dwelt amongst mankind. Direct me to walk in the light so darkness will not overtake me; for I know that the one who walks in darkness does not know where he goes. May I walk according to Your commandments until Your appearing, Lord Jesus Christ, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see.
