Whether it was two days or a month or a year that the cloud lingered over the tabernacle, staying above it, the sons of Israel remained camped and did not set out; but when it was lifted, they did set out. We are powerless without the Lord God. We cannot fulfill His purpose without Him; His guidance, counsel, direction. With Him, following Him, we are victorious. Without His leading we are venturing out on our own. We are defeated before we ever take a step.
