The king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to carry out the words of this covenant that were written in this book. God shows the way,  His perfect way, through His word. God sent His word so we don’t have to walk in darkness and ignorance. If we don’t read God’s word we don’t know how to walk with God in fellowship, love and obedience.
Josiah surrendered his heart and soul to walk with God and to keep His word. And the natural outcome is that others will join you in following by the testimony of your walk and talk.

Praise God for His word and the privilege of living out His word before others.
