Philippians 3:4-6

although I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more: circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless. Philippians 3:4‭-‬6 NASB

Paul, a zealous Jew for the law. He had all the qualifications for a perfect Jew. He lived up to the qualifications of the flesh, the confidence of man.

Jesus, perfect example of righteousness, the blameless perfect God who came to earth, not only to offer eternal salvation but to also be the perfect example of righteous living. To You be praise, honor and glory. God, in my walk with You, I pray that I put no confidence in the flesh, in myself. My confidence is in You alone.

Lord, as I look to other brothers and sisters who abide in You, I pray I recognize no one by what they are in the flesh. Even though You were known, Jesus, according to the flesh, yet now You are known in this way no longer.

For we who are in Christ, are a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Praise and thankfulness to You, God, for all these things are from You, who reconciled us to Yourself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. God, I pray we, the church, Your church, surrender all confidence we have in the flesh and walk in the power of Christ, our perfect example, as we continue the work of reconciliation through the power of Christ, in whose name I pray, amen.

2 Corinthians 5:16‭-‬18 NASB

🌹Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:20 NASB

Continually Seeking Him,
