Daily Thoughts and Meditations as we journey together with our Lord.
“Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.
Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.
Rejoice, Rejoice, and again I say rejoice.
Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.”
This post has reminded me of the song above that we used to sing all of the time way back when I was in high school youth group. It sounds best when it is sung as a round. In a round, all voices sing the exact same melody but begin at different times, creating harmonies. Even with a few voices it can sound nice.
There is only one in whom I will rejoice today. I am singing the song above to praise him!
Thank you for this post, Sharon.

You know I had to sing that before I could read the rest of your message. 😂 I have never experienced this being sung in a round. I’m going to have to get some people together and do it. 👍 🙌
Sing away to your audience of One. I’m sure He is honored by your praise. 🙌
You’re welcome. Have a blessed and wonderful day, Chris.

If you know the same tune I know, You can actually have 4 different parts going. Group 1 starts singing. When group 1 gets to the end of line one they continue and group 2 starts at the beginning, when group 2 gets to the end of line one group 3 starts at the beginning and on it goes. It harmonizes quite well. 🙂
Of course, if you only have 2 people you can still do it and it sounds pretty good.
Thank you for your kind words, Sharon, and I wish you a bless and wonderful day as well!
