Labor Day Blessings

Sep7

Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.
Psalms 127:1 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.127.1.NASB1995

Wealth obtained by fraud dwindles, But the one who gathers by labor increases it.
Proverbs 13:11 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/pro.13.11.NASB1995

In all labor there is profit, But mere talk leads only to poverty.
Proverbs 14:23 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/pro.14.23.NASB1995

There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God.
Ecclesiastes 2:24 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/ecc.2.24.NASB1995

moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—it is the gift of God.
Ecclesiastes 3:13 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/ecc.3.13.NASB1995

🌹Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he toils under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward. Furthermore, as for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also empowered him to eat from them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.

He’s Alive

Apr5

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. . .
Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed. And he *said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.

Oh, What A Day That Will Be!!

Mar20

Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,

“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.

Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.”
Revelation 19:6-7 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/rev.19.6-7.NASB1995

Can you even imagine what that day will be like when we all, who are the bride of the Lamb, Jesus, along with the heavenly host, celebrate at the marriage of the Lamb and His bride?!!!

Wrapped in a Robe of Righteousness 🙌

Dec26

I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.61.10.NASB1995

He has clothed me with garments of salvation.
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness.

Me!!! A sinner . . . . I am an unworthy sinner who has broken the law of God. I’m imperfect. I’m flawed.

But God . . . .

for he who has died is freed from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
Romans 6:7-8 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/rom.6.7-8.NASB1995

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:11 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/rom.6.11.NASB1995

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 6:12-14 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/rom.6.12-14.NASB1995

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.12.2.NASB1995

🌹And it will be said in that day, “Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
Isaiah 25:9 NASB1995
