Do you have a special verse that speaks to you? A verse that may encourage you, give you relief, peace; strengthens you or guides you?
I treasure all of God’s word but I have a verse that stands out in my life. Moses is a favorite of mine. He was used by God. He knew God and God knew him. The verse I want to share today is:
Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me Your glory!”

I often ask God to show me His glory and He has revealed it to me. My mind and eyes, over the years have been trained, I believe, to see God’s glory as I walk with Him in life. I see His glory in the magnificence of a sunset or sunrise. I hear His glory in the laughter of a giggling child. God reveals His glory in an answered prayer, a new believer, scripture that comes at just the right time, from a friend or reading it somewhere, and so many other ways. I watch closely to see God’s glory.
I would love to be encouraged by your verse or verses if you are willing to share it and how it speaks to you.

Like those who have shared, I, too, have several verses that speak to me. One of my absolute favorite verses, however, is Psalm 56:11…”In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.”

Whenever I read and meditate on these words, I am fortified and comforted. The words bring me back to these thoughts – If God is for me, who can be against me? What can stand against my heavenly Father?
Even now, I feel the power that comes from those words. Hallelujah!

How wonderful, Sharon, I don’t think there’s a better prayer than asking God to show His glory 🌼💛🙌🏼🏵️✨ And I truly love how God answers this prayer so marvellously! Just as I read this, the sky outside my home office suddenly filled with many Canada geese practising their “vee” formations for their winter journey south. Which somehow reminds me of a verse I like, “Oh that I had the wings of a dove…” (Psalm 55:6) I have umpteen favourite Bible verses, but one of my top favourites is Judges 5:31, “Let those who love Him be like the sun when it rises in its strength.” Blessed day!! 🌸

I also have many favorite verses but my choice this morning helps me to see where God is at work – in me and around me. This enables me to join in His work.
