Unconditional Childlike Faith

Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”

This verse got me thinking. What does childlike faith look like?

I looked at attributes of a child; attributes of a child toward their caregiver. . .

They are innocent, dependent on and trusting those who care for them. They demonstrate unconditional love. They are curious to learn and explore. They often adapt well to new circumstances because they do not have a care in the world. They feel secure.

I’m sure you can come up with some yourself.

If God is our cargiver and we are His children, do we demonstrate these attributes as we walk with Him?

He (God) has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8 NASB1995

and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:3 NASB1995

    • Thank you so much for the encouraging words. So very grateful to God that it caused you to “pause and think”! God is so good and I always consider it an honor when I can see His work through me. To God be the glory. 🙌
