By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Father, God of extravagant love that exceeds the bounds of custom. This love manifested in me through Your Son, the only one of His kind, I will practice along with truth so that Your works might be displayed in me. I live, truly live because I am saved by Jesus. I have set my seal to this, that God is true! God, You demonstrated Your love for me, in that while I was a sinner, Jesus Christ died for me. I also exult in You, Father through my Lord Jesus, through whom I have received reconciliation! Jesus Himself is the satisfaction for my sin.
