Entrance to The Kingdom

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Salvation is much more than walking an aisle in church, saying a prayer, and then being dunked in water.
Salvation is a decision to live a whole new lifestyle with Jesus at the helm, head, steering wheel, etc. It is placing Jesus on the throne of your heart.
As John 3:5 states, you must be born of water. What does that mean? Jesus, having mercy on us, cleanses us from all filthiness, sin in our lives. That is being born of water. (Ephesians 5:26)
Baptism symbolizes a washing of regeneration, a transformation of our soul for the glory of God. This means sin has been washed away, and our lives are now centered on living in and for the kingdom of God.
Salvation is not only the cleansing, but also comes to us with the blessing of the Holy Spirit who is richly poured out on us through Jesus Christ, our Savior, residing in us. That is being born of the Spirit. (John 3:6)
We are being renewed, transformed into the image of our Lord by the Spirit of God living in us. (Titus 3:5-7; 2 Corinthians 3:18)

🌹Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

Surrender

Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Shine Jesus Shine Pt. 3

As we gaze on Your kindly brightness.
So our faces display Your likeness.
Ever changing from glory to glory,
Mirrored here may our lives tell Your story.
Shine on me. Shine on me.

— Cliff Richard–

Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord — Ezekiel 10:4

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, — Titus 3:4-5

like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord. — 1 Peter 2:2-3

[Moses’ Face Shines] It came about when Moses was coming down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the testimony were in Moses’ hand as he was coming down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because of his speaking with Him. — Exodus 34:29

They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed. — Psalm 34:5

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. — 2 Corinthians 3:18

Does your face and life reveal the image/likeness of Christ? Does it display His story? Just as Moses’ face shone because of his speaking with Him, our lives are transformed from glory to glory when we take time to speak with Him, Jesus Christ.
