The Source of Eternity

In the days of His flesh (during Christ’s earthly life), He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety.
Hebrews 5:7 NASB1995

Have you met the Savior Jesus Christ?
His extreme love for humanity and love of the Father brought Him to earth. Jesus willingly gave His life as a sacrifice for you so you could have eternal salvation. Knowing God and walking with Jesus is assurance for life eternal. Trust Him today. Surrender your heart, your will, your way and Jesus will show you His will, His way, His truth as He leads you on the road to the promised land. Eternity with God. The choice is yours. The alternative is eternal Hell.

🙏 Lord, my heart breaks for the lost soul. I ask that You will open eyes, soften hearts, bring understanding and wisdom to the ones reading this who do not know You. I pray for the ones who do know you that their hearts would be broken for the lost and that you would give us opportunities to share especially as many celebrate Easter. Help us to bring the true meaning of Easter into the lives of our neighbors. For Your glory and in the name of Jesus, our Savior, I pray. Amen.

🙏Father, I am Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which You, God, prepared for me that I would walk in them. Renew and sustain me with a steadfast spirit. I need Your Holy Spirit to reside in me. I trust in Your lovingkindness; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation!! In the name of Jesus I pray.  Amen ✝️🙌

Prayer of Confession

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the abundance of Your compassion, blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when you speak, and blameless when You pass judgment.
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward being, and in my secret heart You will teach me wisdom.
Psalms 51:1-6 MEV
https://bible.com/bible/1171/psa.51.1-6.MEV

🌹Thank You God for Your mercy and compassion upon me.
Because You have washed me, I am cleansed from my sin.
Teach me wisdom Lord God that my inward being would desire truth. Your truth. Help me to walk in Your truth for Your glory. Amen. 🙏

Happy Valentines Weekend 💝

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (satisfaction) for our sins.
1 John 4:10 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/1jn.4.10.NASB1995

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
1 John 4:16 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/1jn.4.16.NASB1995

❤️ We love, because He first loved us.

P.S. Fruit of The Spirit series will continue on Monday with kindness. Hope you’ll drop by.

Walk In The Spirit – Joy (10)

But the fruit of the Spirit is joy
Galatians 5:22 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/gal.5.22.NASB1995

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Luke 15:10 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/luk.15.10.NASB1995

Salvation should be celebrated! A new life, a new beginning, walking under the grace, mercy, and love of God. Are we as joyous as the angels of God over a person who has found salvation in Jesus Christ?

But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.’ ”
Luke 15:32 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/luk.15.32.NASB1995

I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Luke 15:7 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/luk.15.7.NASB1995

Is salvation a one time joyous event and then put in the closet, under the bed, a moment in time unimportant, forgotten?
Isn’t salvation supposed to be life changing? Time altering? Soul surrendering? Obedience seeking? God honoring? A joyous life?

Only if the Holy Spirit is residing in us can this be accomplished.

Let us celebrate with joy over every salvation and walk alongside that person(s), encouraging and building them up in Christ for His glory and purpose.

Continually Seeking Him,

🌹Sharon

Walk In The Spirit – Joy (3)

But the fruit of the Spirit is joy
Galatians 5:22 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/gal.5.22.NASB1995

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.” Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation. And in that day you will say, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted.” Praise the Lord in song, for He has done excellent things; Let this be known throughout the earth. Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 12:2-6 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.12.2-6.NASB1995

Save us, O Lord our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name And glory in Your praise.
Psalms 106:47 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.106.47.NASB1995

Is your salvation a joy? Does knowing that Jesus is trustworthy and faithful bring joy to your heart as you walk through your day? Do you have a song of joy filling your soul knowing that one day you will be gathered with the saints in praise to our God? Does a smile of joy fill your face that others notice? Are you a walking testimony of the joy of the Lord?

🌹O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
Psalms 95:1-2 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.95.1-2.NASB1995

How wonderful to know the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ and walk in His Spirit of joy!

Walk In The Spirit – Joy (1)

But the fruit of the Spirit is joy
Galatians 5:22 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/gal.5.22.NASB1995

Walking with God. Being in His Word. Talking to Him all day long. Leaning on His everlasting arms. Trusting Him on good days and bad days. The assurance of His salvation, of eternity spent with Him. That is tasting the fullness of joy! That is the Fruit of the Spirit living in you.

🌹You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
Psalms 16:11 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.16.11.NASB1995

🙏 Thank You, God, for your Spirit of joy living in me.

New Year’s Resolution #3

Thus says the Lord, “Preserve justice and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come And My righteousness to be revealed.
How blessed is the man who does this, And the son of man who takes hold of it; Who keeps from profaning the sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say, “The Lord will surely separate me from His people.” Nor let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.” For thus says the Lord, “To the eunuchs who keep My sabbaths, And choose what pleases Me, And hold fast My covenant, To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial, And a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which will not be cut off.
“Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, To minister to Him, and to love the name of the Lord, To be His servants, every one who keeps from profaning the sabbath And holds fast My covenant; Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”
Isaiah 56:1-7 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.56.1-7.NASB19950

🌹The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares, “Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered.”
Isaiah 56:8 NASB1995

New Year’s Resolution #3
Preserve justice for and display righteousness to all peoples.

For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Wrapped in a Robe of Righteousness 🙌

I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.61.10.NASB1995

He has clothed me with garments of salvation.
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness.

Me!!! A sinner . . . . I am an unworthy sinner who has broken the law of God. I’m imperfect. I’m flawed.

But God . . . .

for he who has died is freed from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
Romans 6:7-8 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/rom.6.7-8.NASB1995

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:11 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/rom.6.11.NASB1995

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 6:12-14 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/rom.6.12-14.NASB1995

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.12.2.NASB1995

🌹And it will be said in that day, “Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
