1 John 1:3-4

what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.
1 John 1:3-4 NASB

Joy made complete. What is joy made complete?
When the fellowship I have with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ is shared with you — my family, my neighbors, my co-workers, anyone who knows and loves Jesus as I do. That is why I share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I came to the realization of my need for Christ at the age of 15. At that time I thought myself a Christian. I went to church. I was a good, polite and moral young lady. At 11 I took a class to learn how to be a Christian and was baptized. I was now good to go.  .  . live as I wanted to. I had a place reserved for me in Heaven. No Hell for me.
Until God set me straight at 15 with a movie called, “A Theif in the Night”. That movie shook my world and made it clear that living a Christian life is more than having a mansion reserved for me in heaven. Or a happy life or being a moral person. The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.”  – Proverbs 1:7 NASB
The fear of eternal condemnation woke me up to my need for Christ. My need of a relationship with Him. It has not always been easy but it has all been worth the journey since I bowed before my Savior Jesus Christ at my bedside at the age of 15 and gave my life to Him, making Him Lord of my life.
Now I am reminded that,  “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20

Lord God, my Father, I thank You for that faithful, fateful night You called me to salvation, a true salvation. I thank You for not giving up on me but continually perfecting Your workmanship in me, Your creation over the years. I am grateful for the hard times that have strengthened me, making me more dependent on You. I thank You for the times of rejoicing because  of the good work You are doing in me and through me. I thank You faithful God for calling me into fellowship with Your Son, Jesus Christ, my Lord. May I never stop speaking about what I have heard or seen of Your mighty work unto salvation. And I pray, Lord God that You would use this testimony to touch lives for salvation, which is Your will, and for Your glory!! In Jesus name, amen.
Ephesians 2:10/1 Corinthians 1:9/Acts 4:20 NASB

🌹But the testimony which I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved.
John 5:34 NASB

1 John 1:2

and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us—
1 John 1:2 NASB

🌹In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1 NASB

God of revelation who unveils the mystery of Christ and His manifestation. I praise You for the testimony of John who saw and testified of the manifestation of Christ. His testimony is true; and he is still telling the truth, through Your word, so that all who hear may also believe. Believe the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to Your saints, to whom You willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in me, the hope of glory. Hallelujah to You, my Deliverer and hope!
Holy God, may I always carry about in my body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in my body. For I know we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
Father, I pray, asking to be a letter of Christ to those around me, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. May I be a walking evidence of Christ living in me, the Light of life to all who are around me.
God, I thank You for eternal life and the promise that no one will snatch me out of Your hand. In humble adoration as Your servant, amen in Jesus name.
John 19:35/Colossians 1:26‭-‬27/2 Corinthians 4:10‭-‬11/2 Corinthians 3:2‭-‬3/John 1:4/John 10:28 NASB

🌹This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
John 17:3 NASB

1 John 1:1

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life—
1 John 1:1 NASB

🌹Jesus, Word of God. The Word who was from the beginning. The God of Life who is the Light unto mankind. You are the Word of Life.
Jesus, You are before all things, and in You all things hold together.
Lord God, may I never stop speaking about what I have heard from Your word and seen of Your life changing presence in my life.
Jesus, the Word become flesh, dwelling among Your creation, showing Your glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
As Your child, I pray, I will testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world so that others will not be unbelieving, but believing as Thomas was when he reached with his finger to Jesus’s hand and reached his hand to the Savior’s wounded side. Jesus, You truly are the Word of Life. Praise and glory to Your name for coming to save mankind from the destruction of sin through Your sacrifice for our salvation. Amen.
