Kingdom Bound

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”

The kingdom of God is not of this world. Jesus made that clear. He came to show the way to the kingdom. He paid the price for redemption. And He gave the Holy Spirit to every believer who instructs and leads us in speaking the gospel message, “and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Mark 1:15 NASB

🌹Jesus came as the gospel and we are to introduce the gospel to all for God’s kingdom.

Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

Christian, you have been cleansed by the Word, sanctified. Sanctified for a purpose. As Christ was sent into the world by the Father, you have been sent into the world by Jesus.

Purpose: Jesus *said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.

Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest. Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this case the saying is true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored and you have entered into their labor.”

that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
John 17:20‭-‬21 NASB

Jesus praying for His disciples then and now. Jesus was also praying for every new disciple who comes by our sharing the gospel, that we all may be one. One as the body of Christ, even as Jesus and the Father are one. And the glorious privilege of being in them for the purpose of the world believing the Father sent Jesus for the salvation of humanity.

🌹What a wonderful privilege to be a part of God’s redemptive plan. Who is hearing from your spoken words God’s salvation?

Whose Glory Do You Seek?

The Jews then were astonished, saying, “How has this man become learned, having never been educated?” So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
John 7:15‭-‬18 NASB

If you are willing to do God’s will then you will know of God’s teaching. Being God’s child you have received the wonderful gift of God’s Holy Spirit, the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:26 NASB

For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
Matthew 10:20 NASB

for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
Luke 12:12 NASB

🌹Be in the word of God. Fill your mind, your heart, your soul with His holy word. And trust the Holy Spirit to speak through you for His will to be done. To God be the glory!

A Disciple of Christ

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
John 8:31‭-‬32 NASB

Belief in Jesus in not enough. Even the demons believe in Jesus and they shudder (James 2:19).
Jesus instructed “those Jews who had believed” that if they continued in the word, “then you are truly disciples of Mine”.
Why should we stay, continue, in the word? Because Jesus said to but also because “you will know the truth, and it will make you free”.

In this world of so many differing views it is hard to tell truth from fiction. The word of God will set the truth before you and in that there is freedom.

Without Measure

Have you received the testimony of Jesus Christ? The Son of God sent to earth to seek and save those who are lost?

He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true.
John 3:33 NASB

Do you believe that God is true? That His word is truth?

If yes, then rejoice because you have been given the Spirit of God without measure who resides in you!! The Spirit who guides, teaches, speaks through you the “Good News” of salvation through Christ to others who can also receive the Holy Spirit of God, without measure, to do the same!!!

For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure.
John 3:34 NASB

No God Like Our God!

Who is like You among the gods, O Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness,Awesome in praises, working wonders?
In Your lovingkindness You have led the people whom You have redeemed; In Your strength You have guided them to Your holy habitation.
Exodus 15:11‭, ‬13 NASB

Have you been to God’s holy habitation? The place where His majestic holiness dwells? The place where His wondrous works bring you to praise God and experience His awesomeness?
The redeemed have been led by God’s strength. The redeemed continue to be led to the eternal holy habitation of our God.

🌹What a glorious day when our faith becomes sight on the appearance of our Lord before us! There is no God like our God!!

Heart Condition

He said, “O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no god like You in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing lovingkindness to Your servants who walk before You with all their heart;
2 Chronicles 6:14 NASB

You may know some people who are under the care of a doctor for a “heart condition”. I am positive you know many more who have a spiritual “heart condition”. You may be one of them.
If you are struggling with a “heart condition” in need of repair, seek the great Physician. The Lord God. The only true God. The faithful God. With a whole heart you are able to walk with God, love Him and keep His commandments. In turn you can lead others to the Great Physician.

🌹Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments;
Deuteronomy 7:9 NASB

Adonai is All I Have

We are a busy people aren’t we? From the rising of the sun to the setting thereof we rush through life. To accomplish what?

To put food on the table and clothes on the back? God says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.”

To find our way to peace and contentment? To make a “life for ourselves”? Jesus said,  “I am the way, the truth and the life”.

To be better than anyone else? Bible says, “Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you”.

Which now comes to Lamentations 3:25-26:

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him. It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the Lord.
How often are you “being still and knowing God”? Silently waiting on a word from God to quiet your soul, strengthen you faith, heal your hurts and disappointments and revel in His salvation? Open the Word of God before you. Pray. Quiet your soul before Almighty God

🌹“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.”

As the body of Christ called to be fruitful — that is, leading people to the cross, to the salvation found in Jesus Christ — we do well to meet each others needs so as to be fruitful for our Lord.
