Death of Self

“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
Galatians 2:20

Get out of the way Christian and let Christ live in you. Before the Cross we were dead in our transgressions, living in darkness. But now, because of the Cross we are freed to live in Him. This is only by total surrender of “self” to Jesus so that we no longer live but Christ lives in us. Want to survive in the flesh, we must do it by faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As He gave Himself up for us should we not also give ourselves up for Him to live in us?

Just as it was worth it for Christ to come to earth and die for us, it is worth it to surrender all to Him.

🌹For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:21 NASB

By His Power

For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;
2 Corinthians 4:6‭-‬7 NASB

God is the One who shines the light of salvation in us and through us. It is by His power we are saved unto eternal life and it is by His power we are to share the Light, Jesus Christ, the very knowledge of God’s glory!

We are not able to proclaim the gospel without the gospel, Jesus Christ, in us. What a humbling treasure of God to choose to use us for His purpose of salvation to His glory, by His power.

🌹Share the gospel to the glory of God!

I’m Calling, God

The Lord sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.
You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
Psalms 145:14‭-‬18 NASB

🌹Lord, my Sustainer. Humbly I bow before You. In Your time raise me up. I look to You and You provide. You are my Provider.
You, God, are the satisfaction of my heart. Make my only desire be to abide in You.
You, Lord, are righteous in all Your ways and kind to me, Your child.
My heart seeks Your truth, Lord. Draw near to me, O God. I am in great need of You. Amen.

Great is Our Lord

Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.
Psalms 145:3 NASB

Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.
Psalms 147:5 NASB

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
Isaiah 40:28 NASB

Great is our God!
– His greatness is unsearchable.
– He is abundant in strength.
– His understanding is infinite!
– He is everlasting.
– He is Creator of the ends of the earth.
– He does not become weary or tired.
– His understanding is inscrutable (incomprehensible, unfathomable).

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
Romans 11:33 NASB

“Can you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of the Almighty?
Job 11:7 NASB

Our God is rich in wisdom and knowledge so why do we walk in our own knowledge and wisdom? Why do we struggle so when God is just a prayer away. Why do we strive for the things which are not of God?
Our God is limitless and unfathomable are His ways. Now is the time to trust Him, turn to Him, follow Him, abide in Him, seek Him.
Slow down, be still, know that great is our God.

🌹Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:31 NASB

I am Redeemed

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8 NASB

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary
Psalms 107:2 NASB

You have been redeemed. Paid for. Ransomed. Saved from the adversary. Free to walk with Almighty God. Abiding in your Creator and He in you. How can we keep silent when we have received such a gift?

🌹”Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!” Walk continuously, with a “sober spirit” so you are able to “extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Commit: to give in trust or charge, especially for safekeeping; consign; commend:to commit one’s soul to God;

Gladness of Heart

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You.
How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O Lord, they walk in the light of Your countenance.
In Your name they rejoice all the day, And by Your righteousness they are exalted.
For You are the glory of their strength, And by Your favor our horn is exalted.
Psalms 89:14‭-‬17 NASB

Are you walking on the solid foundation of God’s righteousnes and justice, enjoying His lovingkindness and truth resonating in and through you?
Our walk with Almighty God is not for “a moment”. A moment of our need. A moment when we are suffering or in despair. Our walk with God is for all the moments, momentS that continue into eternity.
God, how blessed are we who walk in the light of Your countenance and rejoice in Your name ALL day long. It is by Your righteousness alone that we are exalted, for we have no righteousness of our own. You, Lord God, are the glory of our strength. By Your favor we are filled with joy that overflows to others.

🌹With trumpets and the sound of the horn Shout joyfully before the King, the Lord.
Psalms 98:6 NASB

Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.
