Testimony of God’s Blessings

Looking back over my life, I think of all the places that I have been. The life experiences that made me who I am.
I’ve lived overseas. I’ve lived in 8 different states. I had the blessing of traveling Europe and touring for 25 days. I’ve been to Mexico. I’ve been to Israel. I’ve been to Africa. When I think of all the places that I have been, no wonder I like to travel.
I was talking to God the other day, and I was reminiscing about how I have been blessed. God has given me the things that I wanted most in my life.
Marriage was high on my list of priorities, along with childbearing. I have been married for over 40 years and have children and grandchildren. God had a plan for me and blessed me well.
God gave me a job working in the medical field which I loved very much. God blessed me so much through that career.
God gave me opportunity to work in a church where I had opportunity to help people, to share the gospel with people, and make lasting friendships. What a blessing that was. God is amazing.
In all that he has given me, the one thing that I know for sure, is that, if not for God, I wouldn’t be as happy as I am.
The one consistent thing that I noticed as I was reminiscing, was God, the creator of all that I experienced. He is the one who sent me to all those places. He’s the one that put the gift, the desire to travel in my soul. He is the one that gave me all that I needed. He is the one who was the center of all I experienced.
What I have learned, if nothing else in my life, is that I have been blessed. Jesus is the center of my life. Jesus is the love of my life. Jesus is the very soul of my life. Jesus lives in me and so each day, I want to pick up my cross and follow Him. I want to bring Him glory every day. I want to surrender to His will; walk in His way; clinging to His truth every day. He is the center of my life. And the best is still yet to come when I stand before my Creator in awe!!!
To God be the glory, Amen.

Thank You Christ Jesus

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him, — 1 Timothy 1:12 (NLT)

What an honor and privilege it is to be a spokesperson for God Himself. That He would think me faithful and trustworthy to serve Him so blesses my heart. “But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me” my journey of a lifetime truly began.

In serving the Lord I am only worthy because God revealed His Son in me and by His strength alone I can do all things. As servants of our God we do well to recognize that we are not adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves but our adequacy comes from God through whom our only power and success come.

Our trust and dependence must be solely upon our Lord. We must seek His ways and be obedient with total surrender. When we are, we will see the glory of God at work in us and in those lives we touch. Are you ready for the adventure God has planned for you? He is waiting to reveal the infinite things that Jesus Christ can do through you.

Seek Jesus and let Him transform you.

Continually seeking Him,

But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood, — Galatians 1:15-16

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. — Philippians 4:13

Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, — 2 Corinthians 3:5
