Jesus, the Father of eternity; God. Jesus, one with God the Father. And “He was, from eternity, Father of the great work of redemption”*.

🌹Jesus, the door to eternity. Jesus, the way. Jesus, the truth. Jesus, the life. Jesus, Eternal Father.

*Matthew Henry’s Commentary:
He is the everlasting Father, or the Father of eternity; he is God, one with the Father, who is from everlasting to everlasting. He is the author of everlasting life and happiness to them, and so is the Father of a blessed eternity to them.

Mighty God

‭‭A baby came into this world, but not any ordinary baby, but God the mighty!!
If you want to truly know how mighty God is and be humbled before Him, I recommend reading: Job 38:1-42:6

God IS mighty!!

For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God . . .
who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.

Jesus, Governor of All

‭‭There are many who govern. Some govern institutions, some townships, some cities, some countries, some their homes, and most everyone would say they govern their own lives.
Ultimately Jesus is the Govenor of all.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Since Jesus has all authority doesn’t it make sense to surrender to His will? His way? His purpose? Under His governing power we are loved, safe, cherished, protected, blessed and so much more.

You are either with Him or against Him. The choice is yours. Won’t you surrender to God’s will? Today? The alternative is not pretty.

For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.

A Child Will Be Born

Isaiah, a prophet of the Old Testament, spoke of a coming child. A child who would be born, but not just any child. . .
‭
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.

A child born of a virgin. A child who would be Immanuel, God with us!!

It was even revealed to Isaiah the geneology of this child and what attributes this child would have.

Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, And a branch from his roots will bear fruit.
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

This is a child worthy of following and aspiring to be like.

Do You Have The Life?

God loved you so much that He made a way for you to live forever!!!

Faith and Action

What does living and walking with Jesus look like?
Living – to know the word of God, as well as the Word who is God, so as to be proactive. To know God’s Word is one thing but to act on it is another.
Walking – is putting into action, out of obedience, courage and dependence upon God, His Holy Spirit, what the Word has said.

‭‭If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

What a way to close out a month of thanksgiving. Thank you for taking this journey with me and for those who shared their thankfulness, thank you for those blessings.

Continue on with a thankful heart. It will be great practice for eternity, worshipping our God.
