God, You Who . . .

How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple. By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea; Who establishes the mountains by His strength, Being girded with might; Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples. They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs; You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.

🌹May you be blessed by the God who chooses to draw you near to Him; who answers us in righteousness; who is our salvation. He who is the trust of all the ends of the earth; who established the mountains and stills the roaring seas and the uproar of peoples. He who makes the dawn and the sunset shout for joy!! Let us stand in awe of His signs and wonder.

Dry And Weary Land

[ The Thirsting Soul Satisfied in God. ] [ A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. ] O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water. — Psalm 63:1

Have you been there? In a dry and weary land? I know I have. Unexplained weariness, trouble focusing, no motivation. The day, week, month just seem dry. No real explanation. The presence of God seems distant although you know better than that.

Why do you know better? Because you believe in the Word of God that tells you so. Refreshment comes when you remind yourself that “God, You are my God”. Then surrender to the thirst of the soul and yearning of the flesh to be restored to fellowship with the Almighty God. Seek Him earnestly and He will be found and you will be satisfied.

Hallelujah, praise to the King!!!
