The Holy Spirit living in believers is good. So let us demonstrate the goodness of God.

God, You Who . . .

How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple. By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea; Who establishes the mountains by His strength, Being girded with might; Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples. Dry And Weary Land

[ The Thirsting Soul Satisfied in God. ] [ A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. ] O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water. — Psalm 63:1

Have you been there? In a dry and weary land? I know I have. Unexplained weariness, trouble focusing, no motivation. The day, week, month just seem dry. No real explanation. The presence of God seems distant although you know better than that.

Why do you know better? Because you believe in the Word of God that tells you so. Refreshment comes when you remind yourself that “God, You are my God”. Then surrender to the thirst of the soul and yearning of the flesh to be restored to fellowship with the Almighty God. Seek Him earnestly and He will be found and you will be satisfied.

Hallelujah, praise to the King!!!
