The Lord nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples. Psalms 33:10NASB Many plans are in a man’s heart, But the counsel of the Lord will stand. Proverbs 19:21 NASB
Are you feeling frustrated in your plans? It’s time to make a change. We must look to, trust, lean on, have faith in the counsel of the Lord. He knows all and knows best.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation. Psalms 33:11 NASB Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance. Psalms 33:12 NASB
🌹Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever. Psalms 28:9 NASB How blessed are the people who are so situated; How blessed are the people whose God is the Lord! Psalms 144:15 NASB
In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; You will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; For the heart of this people has become dull, With their ears they scarcely hear, And they have closed their eyes, Otherwise they would see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And I would heal them.’ Matthew 13:14-15 NASB
🌹But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. Matthew 13:16 NASB
How lovely are Your dwelling places, O Lord of hosts! My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God. Psalms 84:1-2 NASB
🌹 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, How blessed is the man who trusts in You! Psalms 84:10-12 NASB
How blessed are those whose way is blameless (complete; or having integrity), Who walk in the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart. Psalms 119:1-2 NASB Are you blessed?
They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways. You have ordained Your precepts, That we should keep them diligently. Psalms 119:3-4 NASB
🌹Seek God with all your heart, walk blamelessly in His ways, the law and testimonies of His word. Know God’s word so you may diligently keep His word and be blessed.
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of David His servant- Luke 1:68-69 NASB
To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, Might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all our days. Luke 1:74-75 NASB
Yes, blessed be the Lord God who came to earth as a man to bring redemption – rescue us from the lifestyle of sin we choose to live in, to atone for our guilt against a Holy, pure and perfect Creator, our Creator.
Jesus paid the price on the cross to rescue us from the hand of our enemies. To reconcile our broken relationship with the Father caused by our disobedient sin. Our relationship, real and personal, with God allows us the privilege of being clothed in Jesus’ righteousness. Undeservedly. Wow!!
With a sacrificial love like that I am grateful that I have been rescued from my enemies that I might serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all my days.
You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you say, “How have we wearied Him? “In that you say, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them,” or, “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:17 NASB
So now we call the arrogant blessed; not only are the doers of wickedness built up but they also test God and escape.'” Malachi 3:15 NASB
Unfolding before our very eyes. The day of the Lord is near. What are we to do?
Consecrate a fast, Proclaim a solemn assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land To the house of the Lord your God, And cry out to the Lord. Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, And it will come as destruction from the Almighty. Joel 1:14-15 NASB
Thus says the Lord, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the Lord. “For he will be like a bush in the desert And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt without inhabitant. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord And whose trust is the Lord. “For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit. — Jeremiah 17:5-8
Where will you place your trust in the coming year? What will your harvest be this time next year? The choice is yours. Cursing or blessing.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. Selah. 20 God is to us a God of deliverances; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death. — Psalm 68:19-20
“Jesus is the rescuer for sinners, the ransom from heaven” from a song (wish I could tell you the name of it or the artist but alas I just know I love the song). We have a lot to be thankful for. He is our escape from death, our deliverance from sin, the bearer of our burdens, our salvation. Are you thankful and blessed by this? Are you telling anyone of the wonderful good news? My heart is heavy for the lost. Pray with me for them and ask God to place individuals in your life that you can witness to of the wonderful salvation of our Lord.
O God, You are awesome from Your sanctuary. The God of Israel Himself gives strength and power to the people. Blessed be God! — Psalm 68:35
