A position of prayer is a humble heart. Coming before Almighty God, our Creator, is an awesome privilege. Direct contact with the One who loves us and gave His life for us. What have we to offer God? Nothing, except what He has given us. Life. Breath. The means to survive.
All of mankind needs to deal first with the issue of pride. Can we be like God? No. We are His creation. God always was and always will be.
A man’s pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor.
