Bless Our Lord

When you truly know God and the works of His hands, it is hard to keep quiet. God, give us opportunity to make You known to others that they may know the glory of Your kingdom and Your power.

Save us, O Lord our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name And glory in Your praise.

This verse brings to mind that glorious day when all the saved in Christ will be gathered up from among many nations to see our glorious Lord before us. Our hearts will be overjoyed with so much thanksgiving that we will not be able to contain our praise and glory in His holy name! Are you ready? Thank God for the promise to come in Jesus’s return.

God is a 24 hour God. He is always available. When we walk with God, we walk morning and night. We are His to be used by 24 hours a day. How many blessings and His glory do we miss because we are caught up in our own ways instead of His way. It is good to give thanks to the Lord all day long and sing, even if it is not verbally. Then you will see His lovingkindness and declare it!

Life is full of many experiences of weeping and times of laughter; times of mourning and times of rejoicing*. Who do you share these experiences with? Jesus is always available to share our sorrows and struggles with, as well as the joys of our lives. He’s waiting to bless. We just need to surrender. Then we are free to celebrate His goodness with praise, glory and thanksgiving.
