It is good to give thanks to the Lord And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night,

God is a 24 hour God. He is always available. When we walk with God, we walk morning and night. We are His to be used by 24 hours a day. How many blessings and His glory do we miss because we are caught up in our own ways instead of His way. It is good to give thanks to the Lord all day long and sing, even if it is not verbally. Then you will see His lovingkindness and declare it!

‭‭Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming.

Life is full of many experiences of weeping and times of laughter; times of mourning and times of rejoicing*. Who do you share these experiences with? Jesus is always available to share our sorrows and struggles with, as well as the joys of our lives. He’s waiting to bless. We just need to surrender. Then we are free to celebrate His goodness with praise, glory and thanksgiving.

In EVERYTHING!!?!! Good days and BAD days? In trials and tribulations?
Yes, because we who are in Christ Jesus are being perfected each day. Our lives in tribulation; our hearts in the joy of the Lord! And yes because this is God’s will!

When things go awry – off the normal course, amiss – what is the typical response? Whatever the response I can guarantee that most responses will lack thankfulness.

What an awesome testimony to the confidence we have in God by being thankful. Giving thanks to our Lord God through it all. The good and the bad days of our lives.

This month of November I challenge you to make thankfulness your focus. Think of at least one thing each day of this month that you are thankful for. On November 30th look over your list and turn those thankful blessings into thankful praise to God!
