Ambassadors

And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain— for He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”—
2 Corinthians 6:1-2 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/2co.6.1-2.NASB1995

“And working together with Him,” in God’s power, by His living in us, in acknowledgement of His great grace, we proclaim the salvation we received, passing it on. God has a purpose for His saved children.

We are a cultivated field yielding the good word of the gospel.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field (cultivated land), God’s building.
1 Corinthians 3:9 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.3.9.NASB1995

🌹Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us;
Our appeal:
we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

Awaiting Salvation

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the person (soul) who seeks Him. It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the Lord.

https://bible.com/bible/100/lam.3.25-26.NASB1995

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
Psalms 37:7 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.37.7.NASB1995

Your salvation is found in the waiting; in the trusting; in the seeking.

Psalms 27:14 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.27.14.NASB1995

The Veil

but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
2 Corinthians 3:16 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/2co.3.16.NASB1995

The veil that separates man and God.
The temple had a veil that separated the Holy place from the Holy of Holies.  Once a year the High Priest would meet with God in the Holy of Holies with a blood sacrifice for himself and for the sins of the people. Hebrews 9:6-7

When Jesus died on the cross, He being the final sacrifice – the sacrifice of the Holy of Holies for all – the veil of separation was torn from top to bottom. Access to the Holy of Holies was open to all who desired access.

Individuals still walk with the veil of separation. Separation from the Holy of Holies, God. Through Jesus the veil is removed. Jesus was the final sacrifice that removed the veil.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
2 Corinthians 4:3 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/2co.4.3.NASB1995

but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
2 Corinthians 3:16 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/2co.3.16.NASB1995

Are you ready to have your veil removed?

🌹But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Secure Refuge

The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.
Nahum 1:7 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/nam.1.7.NASB1995

But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble.
Psalms 37:39 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.37.39.NASB1995

God approves, has regard for, the way of the righteous. The righteous know where their salvation and refuge comes from. Are you one who takes refuge in the Lord, trusting in His strength, secure in His stronghold?

🌹For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.

Salvation Gratitude

Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls,

Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/hab.3.17-18.NASB1995

Even in the midst of turmoil we can rejoice exceedingly with triumphant joy because of our salvation. We are headed to the promised land!!

🌹The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock; And exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,

Blessed Satisfaction

He (Jesus) opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Matthew 5:1, 6 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/mat.5.1-6.NASB1995

¹God is righteous! Seeking righteousness is seeking God the righteous One.

As the deer pants (longs) for the water brooks, So my soul pants (longs) for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?
Psalms 42:1-2 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.42.1-2.NASB1995

Zephaniah 2:3 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/zep.2.3.NASB1995

How do we seek?

Through His Word:

Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them. Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever.
Psalms 111:2-3 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.111.2-3.NASB1995

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
2 Timothy 3:16 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/2ti.3.16.NASB1995

‭The Blessing of seeking:

To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.61.3.NASB1995

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ ”

Blessed Are The Poor in Spirit

In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 1:13 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/eph.1.13.NASB1995

Believer, you are sealed in Jesus with the Holy Spirit of promise. Being a believer you are a disciple of Christ. Being a disciple of Christ comes with blessings.

Saved For a Relationship

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
Romans 10:9 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/rom.10.9.NASB1995

Wedding day. Two excited, anxious hearts awaiting the “I Do’s”. The groom stands at the front of the church. Here comes the bride to join him. They confess their love to one another and at the end of the service they go live their own lives. . . Wait. . . Rewind.

Is this the way we are when it comes to the marriage of Christ and the church? Christ and a professing believer?

“I walked the aisle.” “I confessed that Jesus is Lord and that He was raised from the dead.” Now that I’m saved I’m insured . . . I mean assured a place in heaven, right?

At salvation our life, our walk with Christ, begins. It is an everyday, growing all the way, surrendered relationship with God. It is daily communication – prayer, Bible reading. It is confessing the work of Christ in our lives – testimonies. It is bringing others to the altar of confession for redemption.

It is living ‭
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:10-11 NASB1995‬

Salvation With No Judgment

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.3.16.NASB1995

For the Creator of you, yes you, loved you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth. Jesus willingly, left His throne on high to come to earth, as a human, so anyone who believes in Him, will live forever.

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
John 3:17 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.3.17.NASB1995

If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
John 12:47 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.12.47.NASB1995

Jesus didn’t come to judge us because we are judged already. All mankind is born into sin, which brings about judgment, and is ratified only by the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ. That means ALL mankind is lost and will be judged unless Jesus has saved us.

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Luke 19:10 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/luk.19.10.NASB1995

The choice is ultimately yours. Stay where you are and face judgement at the end of time or surrender to the grace of God and live free from judgment.

We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
1 John 4:14 NASB1995‬
