What is it that a Christian mourns?

Could it be regret for the lifestyle lived before salvation?
Could it be the times of sin now that disappoint our Father for which we seek forgiveness?
Could it be the lost that surround us today?
Could it be tribulation or persecution?
Could it be for our Savior who we long to see face to face?

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
James 4:8-10 NASB1995‬

Christian, take your repentant mourning heart to Jesus so He may comfort you.

🌹for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

God Knows You

You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?
Psalms 56:8 NASB

You examine in detail my ways, my life.
You see every tear and hear every prayer.
Yes, You have me written in Your book of remembrance.
I will revere You Lord and hold dear Your name for I am truly loved. Thank You Lord for loving me. Amen.

You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Psalms 139:3 NASB

The Greatest Thing In All My Life: Serving You

Mark Pendergrass
The greatest thing in all my life is serving You.
The greatest thing in all my life is serving You.
I want to serve You more; I want to serve you more.
The greatest thing in all my life is serving You.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. — 1 Peter 4:10-11

serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials which came upon me through the plots of the Jews; — Acts 20:19

not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; — Romans 12:11

Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; — Romans 12:6-11
