He (Jesus) opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Is seeing God a desire for you, believer; to see God face to face one day? The day we pass from this world to heaven isn’t the beginning of our seeing God. God is visible in the changed heart of a sinner. He is visible in the sanctifying change in believers. He is visible in answered prayers. He is visible to the pure in heart.
How can a young man (person) keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word.

Your word is very pure, Therefore Your servant loves it.

The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The Word of God. Reading it, meditating on it, obeying it, applying it. This is beneficial to a pure heart and enlightened eyes.
Prayer is also beneficial for a pure heart. To seek forgiveness, to talk with God about everything. To be thankful for revealing Himself in answered prayers and rejoicingin Him.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

Yes, they were able to send me home. Bit of a rough night and up every two hours for painkillers — got about 4 hrs sleep. Nurse says many times people don’t sleep the first night due to anaesthetic and other IV meds at hospital from pre-surgery to discharge, but I think my natural sleep pattern will kick in better today. Gotta do my exercises to get knee going — three times a day…so will slowly work at that. Ice packs and pain pills for a few days ahead…
