Real or Faking It?
“But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, and he *said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless.
Matthew 22:11-12 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/mat.22.11-12.NASB1995
The great wedding feast of the saints with our Savior, Jesus. Will He see you clothed in His righteousness at the table? He sees right through your facade. Repentance is not your dress.
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping 💧 and gnashing of teeth.’
Matthew 22:13 NASB1995

We can’t fool God. We are to live repentant lives, living totally for Him.

Trustworthy Steward
Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.
In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.4.1-2.NASB1995
Would you consider yourself a trustworthy person? Would your friends agree? Your co-workers? Family? Would God?
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/2ti.2.15.NASB1995
so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men.
Titus 3:7-8 NASB1995

Testimony* of God’s Abounding Love
Do you ever recognize the abounding love of God in the little things?
Those little things are so huge to me that I stand in awe that God loves and cares that much for me.
This morning I was running late to work. What can take me anywhere from 15-20 minutes to drive – and usually it’s closer to the 20 – took 13 minutes.
Let me set up the reason why I know God showed His love to me today. I have two stop signs, one on a busy thoroughfare and ten stop lights, one I call the longest light in history if red, on my journey to work.
The first stop light on the busy thoroughfare had no cross traffic. Out of the ten stoplights I had to stop at three of them and the real blessing is “the longest light in history” was green. Woohoo.
I pulled into the parking lot with two minutes to spare. (And no, there was no speeding or illegal driving in the making of this testimony)
God has our days perfectly planned out and when we love Him with all our heart we see reasons to thank Him and praise Him!!!
🙌 Look for ways that God blesses you today. Thank Him and praise Him!!
🌹The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.

Walking in The Light of Life
In God, whose word I praise,
In the Lord, whose word I praise,
In God I have put my trust (trust without fear),
I shall not be afraid.
What can man do to me?
For You have delivered my soul from death,
Indeed my feet from stumbling,
So that I may walk before God
In the light of the living (life).

Where is Your Hope Based?
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter 1:3 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/1pe.1.3.NASB1995

Is your hope based in your career or in the One who guided you to and in your career?
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

https://bible.com/bible/100/heb.11.1.NASB1995

Is your hope found in Christ alone?
Continually Seeking Him,
Hallelujah!!!
. . . when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle (sacred tent), not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your (our) conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 9:11-14 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/heb.9.11-14.NASB1995
For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own. Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
Hebrews 9:24-26, 28 NASB1995

My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation.
Psalms 62:1 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.62.1.NASB1995
“My soul waits in silence.” That’s hard for some of us, isn’t it? Waiting is hard enough, but in silence? Really?
But God. He is found in the stillness of our mind; in the openness of our heart, willing to receive a word from Him; in the silent waiting. Jesus is our continual salvation minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day.
Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
Psalms 33:20 NASB1995

Continually Seeking Him,
To Live = Christ
As I share some of my takeaways from the Priority Conference I attended this past weekend, I hope they will resonate with you also.
First Speaker:
Unity of the Church demonstrates the unity of Christ and the Father and us.
From my pride to pride in Christ.
– Who’s glory do I seek?
– Who’s “well done” am I looking for?
– Am I more concerned about being right or about representing truth, being Christ-like?
– Will the last argument I have matter when I stand before God? Does it make a difference in eternity?
🌹For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:21 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/php.1.21.NASB1995
To live is Christ, to die is gain.
To live = Christ!
