It is not always easy being joyful during times of discipline and growing in our faith.
When the trials of life come.
The struggles. Hardship. Facing the unknown. God is there . . .

Is salvation a one time joyous event and then put in the closet, under the bed, a moment in time unimportant, forgotten?
Isn’t salvation supposed to be life changing? Time altering? Soul surrendering? Obedience seeking? God honoring? A joyous life?

Only if the Holy Spirit is residing in us can this be accomplished.

Let us celebrate with joy over every salvation and walk alongside that person(s), encouraging and building them up in Christ for His glory and purpose.

Need accountability? Join an app with a friend or two or more.
Ask questions. Share how God spoke to you through His word. Share how you plan to apply His word. Reading with others helps in your growth in Jesus.

Walking with God. Being in His Word. Talking to Him all day long. Leaning on His everlasting arms. Trusting Him on good days and bad days. The assurance of His salvation, of eternity spent with Him. That is tasting the fullness of joy! That is the Fruit of the Spirit living in you.

The Power of Earnest Prayer

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

In 1 Kings 17:1-7 Elijah says there will be no rain.

In Luke 4:25 Jesus affirms that Elijah prayed and there was no rain for three years and six months.

In 1 Kings 18:41-46 Elijah prays and the rain returned.

“And the earth produced its fruit”.

The power of prayer and the fruit of prayer.

Prayer is powerful. It changes lives. . . It changes us. . . It changes others.
Who are you earnestly praying for? Do you believe that you will see the fruit of your prayers?

🌹First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, . . . This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
