Do you take time regularly to delight in the Lord? Has rejoicing in the Lord become a habit in your life?

I have found in my own life that my days go better when I am focused on rejoicing in the Lord. I can find the good in my day. I see where God is at work in me and through me when my heart is set on rejoicing in Him. I can delight in Him as I travel through my day because He opens my eyes to see things that make my heart rejoice in my God. I shall always make it a habit to look to God each day seeking to have Him reveal in my heart something to rejoice in Him.

Rejoice in the day the Lord has made – Psalm 128:24

Bold Living, God’s Goodness

Teach me Your way, O Lord, And lead me in a level path Because of my foes (those who lie in wait for me).

What great hope we have in Jesus. Jesus is the life. Life that begins the moment of confession, that He is Lord of our life. God is good and He shows His goodness even in the hardest of times.

Jesus experienced being delivered over to his adversaries; those who bore false witness of Him, those who were violent against Him. Should we expect any less for standing on the truth of God’s promises?

God is Good in The Land of The Living

Dark to Light

for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Ephesians 5:8ā€­-ā€¬10 NASB

Praise God for His glorious Light!! Because of Jesus we do not have to walk in darkness. If we are walking in darkness it is by choice. When you believed on the Son of God you entered into His eternal light.

Has God changed your life? Walking as children of the Light, Jesus Christ, we produce fruit which is goodness, righteousness and truth. No excuses. Are you walking in the Light?

Find what is pleasing to God through His word, the Bible. The result? Walking in the Light and producing fruit.

šŸŒ¹but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.Ā Ā Ā  1 John 1:7 NASB

Draw Near To God

But as for me,Ā the nearness of God is my good;Ā I have made the LordĀ GodĀ myĀ refuge,Ā That I mayĀ tell of all Your works. — Psalm 73:28

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Being near to God is nothing but good for anyone. He is all we need in heaven and on earth.

Draw near to God for He is our refuge, our shelter. We find peace in His presence as He protects us from the world, giving us security that we can depend upon. He is faithful. We sit in in the sanctuary of His presence when we draw near to God.

When spending time with Jesus in prayer, meditation and study of His Word, our eyes are opened to the wonders of God. We are overwhelmed and overflowing with testimony of His goodness that we must tell the world what He has done, the wonderful things He does.

The real key to proclaiming the good news is knowing the One who is the good news. Draw near to our God so you can proclaim His goodness, salvation, love and the hope He has for everyone.
