A Sight to See

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Have you looked at the heavens recently? In January 2025 eight planets will be visible in the night sky. A friend sent me a picture showing the moon and 3 planets the other day. What an amazing work of God as He shows us planets lined up by His amazing splendor.

‭A portion of the world on April 8, 2024 experienced a solar eclipse. What a spectacular event of the power and glory of God, the Creator of the universe.

God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also.

What an awesome sight to see the two great lights pass each other. One event of many fascinations that have been seen since the creation of the world.

Look to God

Have you ever experienced, truly experienced the joy of the Lord? I’m not taking about when things are going well in your life and you rejoice and are thankful to God; but when you are in the midst of turmoil and nothing is going right and you have a joy beyond explanation. Your heart is overflowing with love for the Lord. When you can’t contain it and your face shows it. Your mouth is opened with praise and song to THE  awesome God of all. When your eyes see only Jesus and His abundant love for you.

David wrote in time of fear as He fled from King Saul. He looked to his God.

My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises! Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your lovingkindness is great to the heavens And Your truth to the clouds. Be exalted above the heavens, O God; Let Your glory be above all the earth.

Sing to the Lord, all the earth;
