My heart is steadfast, God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises! Psalms 57:7
My heart is steadfast, God; I will sing, I will sing praises also with my soul. Psalms 108:1 NASB
🌹God I want to be steadfast. Lord, give me a sureness and a continuousness in my faith that can be depended upon. As my Potter, Creator, make my vessel watertight, strong and firm that I may stay loyal when enduring strain. Help me to be persistent in working for Your kingdom purpose, Lord God. I thank You, God, and will sing praises with my very soul to You!
Have you ever experienced, truly experienced the joy of the Lord? I’m not taking about when things are going well in your life and you rejoice and are thankful to God; but when you are in the midst of turmoil and nothing is going right and you have a joy beyond explanation. Your heart is overflowing with love for the Lord. When you can’t contain it and your face shows it. Your mouth is opened with praise and song to THE awesome God of all. When your eyes see only Jesus and His abundant love for you.
David wrote in time of fear as He fled from King Saul. He looked to his God.
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises! Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your lovingkindness is great to the heavens And Your truth to the clouds. Be exalted above the heavens, O God; Let Your glory be above all the earth. Psalms 57:7-11 NASB
I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. — Isaiah 61:10
Oh what great things He has done for us!!!
I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I will sing praises to You before the gods.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.
On the day I called, You answered me;
You made me bold with strength in my soul.
