🙏 God, You are my place of shelter, protection, and safety. You are my refuge. What have I to fear? I put my trust in You. Drawing near to You has been so, so good for me. ¹I draw near to hear Your instruction, heed Your word, trust in Your Word, and to be near to You, Lord God. Walking with You has opened my eyes to the wonder of You. I can’t help but speak of Your wonders. Use me Lord God for Your glory and purpose. Jehovah Tsuri: the Lord my Rock

One of my most favorite passages of scripture is Exodus 33. It is there that Moses asks to see God’s glory. God agrees to let Moses see Him hindsight, for God’s glory is too immense for any mortal to see His full glory. Moses is placed in the cleft of the rock. As God passes by He places His hand over the opening until Moses is safe to look.

Then the Lord said, “Behold, there is a place by Me, and you shall stand there on the rock; and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.

God protected Moses in the rock. If God can protect in the rock, He can certainly protect as the rock.

God is alive! His Holy Spirit lives in me. He is my solid rock when the storm rages. He is my fortress when the enemy attacks. He is my deliverer from the fear of death. He is my endurance in this race of life. He is my Redeemer.
