Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. “Whatever is true.” What is true? How do we assess what is true? I believe we need to look to the One who is true.

The Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. . .¹  There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.²  He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true.³

Do we take advantage of this treasure living in us? Jesus Christ moving in us to sanctify, strengthen our faith, molding us into His image for His glory and His purpose? Do we walk daily in His way? In His truth? Is our life surrendered, sacrificed for His purpose?

Salvation, believing faith in Jesus Christ, is so much more than saying a prayer. It is a call to sacrifice our life for His purpose.
