Friday Praise: Salvation

Mar25

I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10 NASB

🌹O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name;
Thank you God for the forgiveness of my sin and Your grace that has clothed me with salvation and wrapped me in the robe of Jesus’s righteousness. Wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness for my good and Your glory. In Jesus name, amen.
(Isaiah 25:1 NASB)

Already Dead

Mar7

By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.
1 John 4:9 NASB

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:17‭-‬18 NASB

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
John 5:24 NASB

🌹I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
Galatians 2:20 NASB

The Lord is His Name

Feb18

The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him. The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His name.
Exodus 15:2‭-‬3 NASB

❤Happy Valentine’s Day âť¤

Feb14

for God is love.
1 John 4:8b NASB

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:10 NASB

God loves you. He desires your soul. The Father longs to save you from the punishment of sin and preserve your life eternally. Won’t you seek Him?

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”
John 3:16‭-‬21 NASB

🌹The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9 NASB
But don’t wait. Call on Him now.

Only Jesus Saves

Jan26

“Son of man, if a country sins against Me by committing unfaithfulness, and I stretch out My hand against it, destroy its supply of bread, send famine against it and cut off from it both man and beast, even though these three men, Noah, Daniel and Job were in its midst, by their own righteousness they could only deliver themselves,” declares the Lord God.
Ezekiel 14:13‭-‬14‭ NASB

though these three men were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Lord God, “they could not deliver either their sons or their daughters. They alone would be delivered, but the country would be desolate.
Ezekiel 14:16‭ NASB

even though these three men were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Lord God, “they could not deliver either their sons or their daughters, but they alone would be delivered.
Ezekiel 14:18‭ NASB

even though Noah, Daniel and Job were in its midst, as I live,” declares the Lord God, “they could not deliver either their son or their daughter. They would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.”
Ezekiel 14:20 NASB

🌹Four times in one chapter the Lord God declares that we can’t deliver, save anyone by our righteousness. Only Jesus can deliver by His righteousness unto salvation.

No Other Name But Jesus

Jan24

He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief corner stone. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:11‭-‬12 NASB

🌹Who are you entrusting your life and eternity to?
