You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.
I do not receive glory from men; but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves. I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him. How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God? Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope.

“He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.
John 3:31 NASB

Jesus came from heaven. Jesus is above all! You can deny this truth but one day you will know for sure that Jesus is above all. God, the Father, has given all authority to Jesus in heaven and on earth.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Matthew 28:18 NASB

Are you an expert on heaven?
Are you and expert on God?

Jesus is. He is the Only one who has ever descended from heaven to also ascend to heaven.

No one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.
John 3:13 NASB

What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony.
John 3:32 NASB

Jesus speaks testifies to the truth of God the Father and heaven because He has seen and heard first hand. He did not need faith as we do. We simply need to believe and trust that Jesus is the Christ sent by the Father for our sake.

🌹And there is salvation in no one else (JesusChrist); for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

Epaphras’ Epitaph

Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you,
Philemon 1:23 NASB

Epaphras, who is one of your number, a bondslave of Jesus Christ, sends you his greetings, always laboring earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God. For I testify for him that he has a deep concern for you and for those who are in Laodicea and Hierapolis.
Colossians 4:12‭-‬13 NASB

Do you have an Epaphras in your life? A person who laboriously prays on your behalf for your walk in the will of God?
Maybe you are an Epaphras concerned about your brothers and sisters in the faith, faithfully praying for them.
Epaphras, a prisoner for the sake of Christ, praying not for himself, but for others.

What a great epitaph to be written:
A bondslave of Jesus Christ who prayed with deep concern, laboring earnestly  on behalf of others.

Pray for your church. Pray for your neighbors. Pray for your city. Pray and watch for God’s glorious answer.

To be faithful to the brethern; especially those who are strangers and to do good to all people as I have opportunity in the support of the spread of Your gospel. 1 John 5:6-8

This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with (in) the water only, but with (in) the water and with (in) the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify:
the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

This is quite interesting and may put a new light on just what Jesus did for mankind.
The sacrifice:

WATER – Now a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and deposit them outside the camp in a clean place, and the congregation of the sons of Israel shall keep it as water to remove impurity;it is purification from sin.
Numbers 19:9 NASB

BLOOD/WATER – For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

But one of the soldiers pierced His (Jesus) side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.

Praise to You, Lord Jesus for Your perfect, unblemished sacrifice to Your Father by which we are reconciled to serve the living God! And thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit who testifies to this truth because He is the truth. Always present are You God – Father, Son, Holy Spirit – when Jesus was baptized – “After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.” Ever present today for believers – “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. How awesome it is to know, worship and love You God. Praise to God, three in One!! Amen.

How awesome a God You are! Blessing me with Your Holy Spirit! Thank You, God, for the assurance of knowing You abide in me because of Your awesome gift of the Holy Spirit. I am no longer in the flesh but in the Spirit. I belong to You, Lord God!!!
Under the power of the Holy Spirit I will testify and proclaim eternal life through Jesus Christ who was with the Father and was being manifested to us, the Savior of the world. For You, Father, did not send Your Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. “The one who confesses the Son has the Father also”. For this I am eternally grateful, God. Thank You.
I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in my heart that You, almighty God raised Him from the dead! Thank You, Father, for my salvation. In the name of my Redeemer I pray, amen.

Conviction And The Gospel

And now, behold, bound by the Spirit, I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit solemnly testifies to me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions await me. But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God. — Acts 20:22-24
