God Created You

Jun26

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them;
Genesis 1:27-28a NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/gen.1.27-28.NASB1995

God created you! Yes, YOU!!! And you were created in His image. My mind cannot grasp the fact of being made in the image of God, spiritual beings given life through Him, in His image. God has blessed us with life. God loved His creation so much that He wanted more like Him to bless.

‭As for you, be fruitful and multiply; Populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it.”
Genesis 9:7 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/gen.9.7.NASB1995

Can you grasp what a wonderful creation you are?

Pray:
‭
For You (God) formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.
Psalms 139:13-14 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.139.13-14.NASB1995

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.
Psalms 139:17-18 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.139.17-18.NASB1995

🌹God loves you, His precious creation.
How are you honoring God with the life He gave you?

Seeking Wisdom?

Jun24

For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Proverbs 2:6 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/pro.2.6.NASB1995

‭In 1 Kings 3, Solomon, the son of David, was a little child when he became King in place of his father. God spoke with Solomon and said, “ask what you wish Me to give you.” Solomon requested an understanding heart to judge the Lord’s people to discern between good and evil. It was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing. “God said to him, ‘Because you have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice, behold, I have done according to your words. Behold, I have given you a wise and discerning heart,'”

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.
James 3:17 NASB1995‬

Humbled

Jun21

“Who is this that darkens counsel By words without knowledge?
Now gird up your loins like a man, And I (The Lord God) will ask you, and you instruct Me!

Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding,
Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it?
On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone,
When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
“Or who enclosed the sea with doors When, bursting forth, it went out from the womb;
When I made a cloud its garment And thick darkness its swaddling band,
And I placed boundaries on it And set a bolt and doors,
And I said, ‘Thus far you shall come, but no farther; And here shall your proud waves stop’?
Job 38:2-11 NASB1995‬

Mighty is our God! Creator of all! To God be the glory!! I am silenced before Him.

Sow & Reap

Jesus *said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.
John 4:34 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.4.34.NASB1995

Jesus, in obedience to the Father, came to accomplish the work the Father sent Him to do. We, as followers of Christ, in obedience, follow in His footsteps.

‭And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/mat.28.18-20.NASB1995

We, believers, have all been called to share the gospel. We are all to sow at every opportunity. Sowing must take place for there to be a harvest. The one who sows may not be the same one who reaps a particular soul.

For in this case the saying is true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’
I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored and you have entered into their labor.”
John 4:37-38 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.4.37-38.NASB1995

Our sowing will not be in vain. One glorious day the planters and the harvesters will rejoice together!

Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
John 4:36 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.4.36.NASB1995

🌹Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.

Or let him rely on My protection, Let him make peace with Me, Let him make peace with Me.”
Isaiah 27:5 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/isa.27.5.NASB1995

For You have been a defense for the helpless, A defense for the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat; For the breath of the ruthless Is like a rain storm against a wall.
Isaiah 25:4 NASB1995‬

“Yield now and be at peace with Him; Thereby good will come to you.

A day without sin is like . . . IMPOSSIBLE!
That is why I am grateful for God’s mercy, grace and forgiveness.

The Origin of Life

Jun17

“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning (Origin or Source) of the creation of God, says this:
Revelation 3:14 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/rev.3.14.NASB1995

‭Jesus, the Amen, Witness, is the Origin, Source of all creation. Jesus is God as is the Father and Holy Spirit. Together, One.

‭In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
John 1:1-2 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.1.1-2.NASB1995

‭‭In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/gen.1.1.NASB1995

He established the earth upon its foundations, So that it will not totter forever and ever. You covered it with the deep as with a garment; The waters were standing above the mountains.
Psalms 104:5-6 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.104.5-6.NASB1995
‭
The mountains rose; the valleys sank down To the place which You established for them. You set a boundary that they may not pass over, So that they will not return to cover the earth.
Psalms 104:8-9 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.104.8-9.NASB1995

‭He waters the mountains from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of His works.
Psalms 104:13 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.104.13.NASB1995

He made the moon for the seasons; The sun knows the place of its setting. You appoint darkness and it becomes night, In which all the beasts of the forest prowl about. The young lions roar after their prey And seek their food from God. When the sun rises they withdraw And lie down in their dens. Man goes forth to his work And to his labor until evening. O Lord, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions.
Psalms 104:13 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/psa.104.19-24.NASB1995

‭All things came into being through Him (Jesus), and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
John 1:3 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/jhn.1.3.NASB1995

You are God’s creation. In Him is your life. All the promises of God are yours by
the acknowledgement of your need of His forgiveness and surrender of your life so God will live through you. It’s worth the sacrifice of surrender . . .

For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.
2 Corinthians 1:20 NASB1995‬
https://bible.com/bible/100/2co.1.20.NASB1995
