Could praying with thanksgiving be a testimony to faith in God? Praying with thanksgiving is trusting God with the outcome of your supplication, your request before it is answered.
What happens when you leave the request at the altar and trust God for the outcome?

God is a 24 hour God. He is always available. When we walk with God, we walk morning and night. We are His to be used by 24 hours a day. How many blessings and His glory do we miss because we are caught up in our own ways instead of His way. It is good to give thanks to the Lord all day long and sing, even if it is not verbally. Then you will see His lovingkindness and declare it!

O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it.

I thank God that He knows me intimately.
He knows I love watching the sky, His creation.
God knows I don’t like driving at night so He gave me a beautiful sunset to guide me on a 5 hour trip home. The magnificence of the sunset lasted about 2 hours, every few minutes the patterns and colors changing. Colors ranging from calming grays to different hues of blues turning into a massive fiery sky to a low light white glow. The patterns in the sky made by the clouds were constantly changing, reshaping the sky into a fabulous wonder. The magnificent slendor displayed before me had me praising God, thanking Him for loving me so much He lit up the sky for me.

I made it home safely with a white light glow still glowing. God is amazing, and I am so blessed that He knows me and loves me enough to give a sunset to guide me safely home.

Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His godly ones.

‭‭Why do you suppose God would consider the death of His godly ones as precious?

Does God not rejoice at the salvation of His children, His creation?

He will rescue (redeem) their life (soul) from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight;

‭‭Even though we have received God’s redemption and our eternity from oppression and violence, we still face oppression and violence this side of heaven. But . . . One day when our mortal bodies are no more, we will receive full all God has promised to His own. How precious in the sight of God, is the death of His godly ones.

I’m saddened by those who die without Jesus. What a contrast when compared to the death of a godly saint who believed and trusted God. I am very thankful to God for the ability to rejoice at a believer’s celebration of life because they continue to live. Oh how precious.
