Undeserved Grace

He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear (revere) Him.
Psalms 103:10‭-‬11

God, I am humbled when I am faced with your grace. When I consider Your holiness in view of my sin I am ashamed. But God . . . You have not given me the punishment I deserve. Your lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For Your compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Your lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. I give glory to Your name, God, for Your mercy and grace. Amen
Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23/Psalms 36:5/Psalms 36:7 NASB

🌹I will sing of the lovingkindness of the Lord forever; To all generations I will make known Your faithfulness with my mouth.
Psalms 89:1 NASB

2 John 1-3

The elder to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not only I, but also all who know the truth, for the sake of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever: Grace, mercy and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
2 John 1‭-‬3 NASB

Glorious, awesome God, how marvelous are Your ways. Your grace, mercy and peace are with me. God, Your desire is for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, to recognize that the truth is Jesus and He has set us free!!
Thank You for the fellowship of other believers who know the truth. I pray we are ready to remind one another of these things, even though we already know and have been established in the truth for the sake of the truth which abides in us, our Helper the Holy Spirit and He will be with us forever! FOREVER!!! Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Glory to Your Name. In Jesus’s name, amen.
1 Timothy 2:4/John 8:32/2 Peter 1:12/John 14:16 NASB

🌹to all who are beloved of God, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:25-28

But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger and minister to my need; because he was longing for you all and was distressed because you had heard that he was sick. For indeed he was sick to the point of death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only but also on me, so that I would not have sorrow upon sorrow. Therefore I have sent him all the more eagerly so that when you see him again you may rejoice and I may be less concerned about you.
Philippians 2:25‭-‬28 NASB

God, You are awesome!! Not only do I have 24 hour access to You but I have brothers and sisters in Christ who also have that same access. Anytime night or day we can come to you and convey our burdens, struggles, fears, needs, joys, praise not only for ourselves but on behalf of others.
God I pray to have a deep concern for Your church and for those who are led into sin, to keep them in my prayers.
What a true gift was given us of the Holy Spirit who also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Blessed are You, God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by You. Praise to You for the fulltime access we have available through prayer on behalf of others. In Jesus name, amen.
Romans 8:26‭-‬27/2 Corinthians 11:28‭-‬29/2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NASB

🌹Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you;

Blessed

Who remembered us in our low estate,
And has rescued us from our adversaries, Who gives food to all flesh.
Give thanks to the God of heaven,
FOR HIS LOVINGKINDNESS IS EVERLASTING.
Psalms 136:23-26 NASB

🌹Holy, pure, perfect God, thank You for seeing me, hearing me in my afflictions, and rescuing me many times according to Your compassion. Thank You for redeeming me.
I wait for Your provision Lord. You give that which I may gather. You open Your hand and I am satisfied with good.
Yes, I will give the God of heaven thanks for Your lovingkindness is everlasting. Amen.

God of Comfort

But God, who comforts the depressed (humble), comforted us by the coming of Titus; and not only by his coming, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, as he reported to us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced even more.
2 Corinthians 7:6‭-‬7 NASB

What a beautiful picture of our God. The Father of mercies and God of all comfort. He comforts each of us through His own beloved people. The church, God’s people, being the hands of comfort during trials, struggles, uncertainties, fear, etc. Under the influence of the Holy Spirit we are comforted and in turn comfort others. Aren’t you amazed when a brother or sister comes to comfort you and you find they have gone through a similar thing as you and share how God got them through? And they will probably reference someone who came along side them who had already experienced a similar situation.

God knows your afflictions, your woes, etc. Call out to Him, watch and wait to see how the Comforter, our Lord, will respond.

🌹Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 Corinthians 1:3‭-‬4 NASB

Person of God!

Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have committed all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. You must not turn aside, for then you would go after futile things which can not profit or deliver, because they are futile. For the Lord will not abandon His people on account of His great name, because the Lord has been pleased to make you a people for Himself. Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. But if you still do wickedly, both you and your king will be swept away.”
1 Samuel 12:20‭-‬22‭, ‬24‭-25 NASB

for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
1 Peter 2:10 NASB

Even when we sin, do not draw away from God but serve Him with your whole heart. God will not abandon you. He is pleased to make you a person for Himself. Fear God and serve the Lord with all your heart in truth. And consider all the things He has done for you.

🌹Through His mercy and on account of His great name you are a person of God!! Praise Him and rejoice in the life He has given you.

Faithful

As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging. Now hearing a crowd going by, he began to inquire what this was. They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he called out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.”  Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.                          Luke 18:35‭-‬43 NASB

“Lord, I want to regain my sight”.

This man had lost his sight, for you can’t regain something you never had.

Haven’t we all been there? Lost sight of our way? Lost the intimacy we have had with Jesus in the past?

This man was persistent to get the attention of Jesus even while those around him

“were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more”. And those trying to keep him quiet were leaders. Those who led the way”.

By his faithfulness he pursued Jesus. By his faithfulness his eyes were opened. By his faithfulness he followed Jesus. But even greater than all this “when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.”

Your faithfulness is seen by many.

🌹Are you faithfully following Jesus? Do others see Jesus in you? If not it is time to ask for Jesus to “to regain my sight!” Then be faithful to follow.

Thankful for Blessings

As He entered a village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met Him; and they raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” When He saw them, He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were going, they were cleansed.

Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan.

Then Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine-where are they?  Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”  And He said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has made you well.”                  Luke 17:12‭-‬19 NASB

Are you thankful for the blessings of God? Are you even aware of blessings from God?

God is visible all around us to those who know Him personally and realize that He is intimately involved in every aspect of our day, our lives.

When we start looking and then thanking God for the little blessings we will begin to notice more and more of everyday blessings and realize how loved we are and that there are no little blessing. All blessings from God are the outpouring of the love of God on us.

🌹How thankful are you? Enough to stop whatever you are doing to acknowledge God for His blessings as you receive them?

Abundant Mercy

“Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters;
Isaiah 55:1a NASB

“Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
Isaiah 55:3 NASB

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7 NASB

God of abundance. Abundant mercy to still be reaching down, calling our hearts back to Him. Abundant mercy He desires to pour out on His children.

Now is the time to seek the Lord, while He may be found. Today may be the day when time runs out for you. Don’t delay. Come experience God’s abundant love, grace and mercy.

🌹 Praise God for His abundant mercy. Who do you know that needs to hear?

God Will Be Known

I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.”‘
Ezekiel 38:23 NASB

As you read the Scripture prior to this statement by God, “that many nations will know that I am God”, it is not a pretty picture. It is a picture of destruction.

God is gracious and has great mercy but when blatant disobedience continues with no regard to God’s love, lordship, grace, mercy, His will and way, then punishment is inevitable.

🌹How far are you willing to push the limit of God’s grace and mercy? God will make Himself known to all.
