You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 NASB

Prayer:

🌹When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O Lord, I shall seek.” I sought You, Lord, and You answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. The poor man cried, and Lord, You heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The righteous cry, and Lord, You hear and deliver them out of all their troubles. Nothing is hidden from God. He knows the secrets of the heart. It is senseless to think we can hide our thoughts, our desires, our motives, our sin from our Creator. God formed our inward parts and also knows our very soul.

Prayer:

Reconnecting Day 5

As I was praying this morning, this verse came to me:
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
Psalms 19:14 NASB

My desire is to live, or at least try my best to live up to the standard of my Lord and be pleasing in His sight. Filling my heart with the word of God daily so I can meditate on it all day. The word that will control my thoughts and the words of my mouth all to the glory of God!

Is Your Heart Dull?

In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,
‘You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; You will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; For the heart of this people has become dull, With their ears they scarcely hear, And they have closed their eyes, Otherwise they would see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And I would heal them.’

Tablet of Your Heart

Scripture is a great place to learn to pray. God’s timeless word that expands many generations. God’s words spoken back to Him from the mouth of His children.

Personalizing God’s word back to Him, the One who wrote it, is a good way to “write it on the tablet of your heart”.

Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs 3:13 NASB
