My Prayer For You

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9‭-‬11 NASB

🌹Amen

I’m Calling, God

The Lord sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.
You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
Psalms 145:14‭-‬18 NASB

🌹Lord, my Sustainer. Humbly I bow before You. In Your time raise me up. I look to You and You provide. You are my Provider.
You, God, are the satisfaction of my heart. Make my only desire be to abide in You.
You, Lord, are righteous in all Your ways and kind to me, Your child.
My heart seeks Your truth, Lord. Draw near to me, O God. I am in great need of You. Amen.

Continually Seeking Him,

Great is Our Lord

Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.
Psalms 145:3 NASB

Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.
Psalms 147:5 NASB

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
Isaiah 40:28 NASB

Great is our God!
– His greatness is unsearchable.
– He is abundant in strength.
– His understanding is infinite!
– He is everlasting.
– He is Creator of the ends of the earth.
– He does not become weary or tired.
– His understanding is inscrutable (incomprehensible, unfathomable).

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
Romans 11:33 NASB

“Can you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of the Almighty?
Job 11:7 NASB

Our God is rich in wisdom and knowledge so why do we walk in our own knowledge and wisdom? Why do we struggle so when God is just a prayer away. Why do we strive for the things which are not of God?
Our God is limitless and unfathomable are His ways. Now is the time to trust Him, turn to Him, follow Him, abide in Him, seek Him.
Slow down, be still, know that great is our God.

🌹Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:31 NASB

Continual Praise

I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Psalms 145:1‭-‬2 NASB

By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother’s womb; My praise is continually of You.
Psalms 71:6 NASB

🌹God, my Sustainer from the day of my birth, I will praise you continually. I will, as my ambition, glorify, exalt and celebrate you my God, O King. I will bless you and I will praise You today and into eternity. For this is pleasing in Your sight.  Forever and ever I will praise You. In and for the name of Jesus, I pray, amen.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
2 Corinthians 5:9 NASB

Week of Prayer Day 5

If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.
2 Chronicles 7:13‭-‬15 NASB

🌹Hear from heaven, God of all creation, our humble prayer of repentance. Forgive us our sin and wicked ways as we seek Your face.  Heal our land Lord God. Be attentive to our prayers being offered up to You today. For Your glory and kingdom cause. Amen.

Pray for your nation today.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

Week of Prayer Day 4

‘If they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their forefathers, in their unfaithfulness which they committed against Me, and also in their acting with hostility against Me—
I also was acting with hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies—or if their uncircumcised heart becomes humbled so that they then make amends for their iniquity, then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and My covenant with Abraham as well, and
I will remember the land.
Leviticus 26:40‭-‬42 NASB

🌹 Oh God, turn the hearts of Your people back to You so You may bless our nation with Your righteousness. Forgive us our unfaithfulness and acts of hostility toward You and Your word. As we humble ourselves before You,  remember Your covenant through Jesus, our Savior, and forgive us.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

Week of Prayer Day 3

Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
O sons of men, how long will my honor become a reproach? How long will you love what is worthless and aim at deception? Selah.
But know that the Lord has set apart the godly man for Himself; The Lord hears when I call to Him.
Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still.        Selah.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in the Lord. Many are saying, “Who will show us any good?”
Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O Lord! You have put gladness in my heart, More than when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety.
Psalms 4:1‭-‬8 NASB

🌹Thank You, God. Amen.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

Week of Prayer Day 2

Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplication.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.
The Lord is their strength, And He is a saving defense to His anointed.
Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever.
Psalms 28:6‭-‬9 NASB

🌹All for Your glory! Amen.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

Week of Prayer Day 1

As the National Day of Prayer approaches on May 6, the next 5 days of devotions will be prayers.

To You, O Lord, I call; My rock, do not be deaf to me, For if You are silent to me, I will become like those who go down to the pit. Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You for help, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
Do not drag me away with the wicked And with those who work iniquity, Who speak peace with their neighbors, While evil is in their hearts. Requite them according to their work and according to the evil of their practices; Requite them according to the deeds of their hands; Repay them their recompense. Because they do not regard the works of the Lord Nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up.
Psalms 28:1‭-‬5 NASB

🌹 May we regard Your word diligently, applying it to our lives in obedience, praying for our neighbors and others around us to seek You while praising you for the work, You Lord God, are doing. In Jesus name, amen.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

Prayer- Lost

(God speaking to Moses)
“Leave Me alone, that I may destroy them (the Israelites, God’s own chosen people) and wipe out their name from under heaven; and I will make of you (Moses) a nation mightier and greater than they.”
Then I (Moses) fell down before the Lord like the first time, for forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin whichyou (Israelites) had committed by doing what was evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.
The Lord was also angry enough with Aaron to destroy him; so I also prayed for Aaron at the same time.  Deuteronomy 9:14‭, ‬18‭, ‬20‭

Oh that we would seek to have a heart for the lost and wayward. So much that we would willingly sacrifice our comfort – food, drink, sleep, and interceed (pray) on their behalf before the Lord. OR
That we would revere our Holy God so much we would care about His name and reputation.

“So I fell down before the Lord for the forty days and nights, which I did because the Lord said He would destroy you.
And I prayed to the Lord and said, ‘Lord God, do not destroy Your people, Your inheritance, whom You have redeemed through Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand!
Otherwise, the people of the land from which You brought us will say, “Since the Lord was not able to bring them into the land which He had promised them, and since He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness!”
Deuteronomy 9:25-26‭, ‬28 NASB

🌹In the name of and for God’s sake are you praying for the lost in your nation to the glory of God?

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon
