Philippians 3:1

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.
Philippians 3:1 NASB

THE Holy God of all wisdom and knowledge, to You I give praise unto Your name! In You I shall rejoice.
Even in the sacrifice and service of my faith I rejoice. Safeguard Your people Lord and may we never get tired of hearing Your repeated word. I pray we rejoice and share our joy with one another as we work together in the fulfillment of Your word. My Peace. My Joy. My Safeguard. In Your name pray. Amen.
Philippians 2:17‭-‬18 NASB

🌹Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.
Psalms 119:10‭-‬11 NASB

Philippians 2:3-4

Do nothing from (according to) selfishness (contentiousness) or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
Philippians 2:3‭-‬4 NASB

God, in this world that is “all about me”, I confess my selfishness and empty conceit. I  pray I will not be selfishly ambitious but proclaim the name of Christ from pure motives. I pray I will obey the truth and run from unrighteousness to obey righteousness. I  pray, Lord God for Your church, that we will not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another but to be devoted to one another in brotherly love giving preference to one another in honor. May we be subject to one another in the fear of our Lord, Jesus Christ, in His name and for His glory, amen.
Romans 2:8/Philippians 1:17/Galatians 5:26/Romans 12:10/Ephesians 5:21 NASB

🌹Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
Romans 15:1‭-‬2 NASB

Speaking and Serving

Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:11 NASB

Do you belong to God?
Are the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart acceptable in His sight? Are you serving in the strength of His might? Are you doing ALL to the glory of God?

🌹Have we truly surrendered our words and our service to God?

Work – Ugh?

With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men, — Ephesians 6:7

If you work for a living you “render service”. What does your service look like? Is it an example to others that you serve God? Is your day filled with grumbling and complaining about how the “company” or “boss” is unfair and doing you wrong? Do you look at your day as “I can’t wait to get through it so I can do what I want after work”? Are you always in a hurry for the weekend? In a state of hurry do you mistreat people or grumble under your breath that they are slowing you and your productivity down?

OR

Do you look at your work as a gift from God to meet the needs of your family and yourself? Do you face each day looking to see how you can fulfill God’s plan of salvation through your actions and attitude? Do you respect your authority as much as you respect God?

Is God not in control? Are the people in your life who slow your productivity not put there for a purpose? The purpose may be to teach you patience or perseverance or trust that God is in control. Or is that person there so you can be a witness of God’s awesome mercy and grace?

It really is all about God. May God bless your work day.
