Greetings, holy ones in Christ Jesus. Thank you for taking this journey through Philippians with me. I hope you have been as challenged as I have been to live as Christ lived. I have learned a lot about the changes that need to be made in my life to bring glory to my God.

I thank You, God, for Your grace as I strive to live in a godly way before Your all seeing eyes. Strengthen me in Your power to live boldly for Your kingdom purpose. Help me, Lord, to join with Your holy ones to encourage one another to live for You and spread Your gospel so others may know Your grace as Your holy ones do.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am amply supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you have sent, a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. Lord, I trust and believe You are able to do far more abundantly beyond all that I could ask or think, according to the power that works within me through Your Holy Spirit so I ask You to make all grace abound to me, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, I may have an abundance for every good deed leading to the proclamation of the gospel. Jesus, through You I have received the gospel, not of my doing so I have nothing to boast of. In pure thankfulness of my undeserved salvation, may I freely share Your saving grace with urgency having been entrusted to proclaim the gospel to everyone.
I also ask that my pocketbook would be used for the spread of the gospel as You see fit. All I have is Yours for Your glory. For from You and through You and to You are all things. To You be the glory forever. Amen.

The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Jesus You are truth, the truth. You are honorable, Lord God, worthy of honor and praise. You are right, the only righteous God. You are pure and holy. God of grace and worthy of love. You, Sovereign God are of good, excellent repute. God, I will dwell on You, the embodiment of all these attributes. Your excellency is worthy of my praise.
I have learned and received and heard instruction through Your word and godly people and want to practice these attributes so as to be counted among the godly. The mouth speaks from that which fills the heart; may my heart bring forth what is good out of the good treasure of my heart. My desire is to walk in an acceptable way in Christ’s service, to be acceptable to God and approved by men that they may see from my excellent behavior and good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation. 🌹Rejoice. Rejoice always. Rejoice in the Lord. REJOICE, IN THE  LORD, ALWAYS.

Lord God. Lord of my life, my every breath, my every step. What a safeguard it is for me to be constantly reminded to rejoice in You always. When I am rejoicing in You I have no room for worry. God forgive me for letting worry deprive me of trusting in You, my King, who sits upon the throne and is in control of my destiny. Life is more than food and my body is for more than clothing. I want to rejoice in You and give my body for Your service, Lord; as a slave of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. With good I will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good thing I do, this will I receive back from You, Lord. There is no outgiving You.
God, when I am anxious, help me to remember to run to You with everything, making my request known to You by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Guide my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, with the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension.

Thank You for opening the door of opportunity to partake in Your household, no longer a stranger or alien, but a fellow citizen with the saints. God, I pray for Your church, that we will conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel.

God, my heart breaks and aches for those who have turned away from You. Those who are devoured by the lust of the world as they seek to wet their appetite and in turn are consumed by it, allowing their appetite to be their god.
For such as these are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.
For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward You, God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please You, God. Are you an observer? Do you learn from watching and listening to others? As far back as I can remember I witnessed attributes that I avoided and attributes I picked up and imitated. I’ve learned a lot from watching and listening to others, especially from godly people.

🌹Lord Jesus, awesome example of walking with the Father. Worthy to be praised for Your love lived out for all to follow and grow in knowledge of and service to You. For You gave us an example that we also should do as You did to and for us. Thank You for godly examples found in Your word, those we walk with today, and through knowing You and following Your example. God, I pray that I would be a godly example before others as I imitate Christ, not lording it over anyone, but proving to be an example to others.
Jesus, may I always be an imitator of You before others so as to draw them to You, the perfect One to imitate. For Your glory and in Your name I pray, amen.

Perfect, Holy God I confess that my attitude has not always been to press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Father, reveal to me any attitude that is different from Your upward calling. I want to be mature so I can be perfect as You are perfect. May my life follow in line with Your standard, Lord. I thank You, God, for the blessing and privilege of speaking wisdom among others that are also mature; a wisdom not of this world, for we are not of this world, nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. Fill me Father with Your Spirit; teach me wisdom Holy Spirit so spiritual thoughts will bring about spiritual words of honor, glory and praise to Your perfect, holy name. Amen.
