Jesus prayed to the Father for His disciples to be filled with the love of the Father; for Himself to be in them. Then Jesus prayed for all who will believe the gospel that has been passed down for generations.

Power to Glorify

‭All believers have been called. Called through salvation to fulfill the plan of God. The glory in this is that fulfilling God’s plan is not dependent on us. That’s a huge weight lifted off of our shoulders. Before you get too excited though, we do have responsibilities beyond our confession of belief in Jesus Christ:

1. Love the Lord your God – Joshua 23:11
2. Seek His kingdom first – Matthew 6:33
3. Surrender your will to God’s will – Matthew 6:10
4. Obey – Acts 5:29
5. Honor – 1 Corinthians 6:20
6. Follow – ‭1 John 2:6
7. Abide in Him – John 15:4

You can participate in the wonders of God and see His glory as He works through His fully devoted servant – YOU!

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Is Your Seal Set?

What does living and walking with Jesus look like?
Living – to know the word of God, as well as the Word who is God, so as to be proactive. To know God’s Word is one thing but to act on it is another.
Walking – is putting into action, out of obedience, courage and dependence upon God, His Holy Spirit, what the Word has said.

‭‭If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

🌹God of refuge and strength I pray for Your refuge and strength in a time when tribulation like we have never seen comes upon us. I pray I will watch myself and hold to Your truth learned through Your word and godly mentors in my life. I pray I will plant and water and have confidence to receive the full reward according to my labors. Guide me Lord and keep me from going ahead of You, by abiding in Your Word, Jesus, and in You, Father.
I ask protection and discernment, God, to recognize and keep away from those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to Your teaching and to turn away from them. Keep me free from sin Lord, giving me the ability to show mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh. Keep me, as You commanded, from every brother and sister who leads an unruly life so as not to be swayed to that lifestyle and thus find myself participating in their evil deeds. Help me to avoid the unfruitful deeds of darkness and expose those deeds. May Your mercy fall on me. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

How awesome a God You are! Blessing me with Your Holy Spirit! Thank You, God, for the assurance of knowing You abide in me because of Your awesome gift of the Holy Spirit. I am no longer in the flesh but in the Spirit. I belong to You, Lord God!!!
Under the power of the Holy Spirit I will testify and proclaim eternal life through Jesus Christ who was with the Father and was being manifested to us, the Savior of the world. For You, Father, did not send Your Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. “The one who confesses the Son has the Father also”. This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:23‭-‬24 NASB

God, Father, You have commanded me to believe in Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is the true work of Yours, Father, that I believe in Jesus whom You sent. It is You who sent the true bread out of heaven. I am gratefully blessed to be called Your child, God, for I believe in the name of Jesus! You, Lord, have commanded to love one another, even as You have loved. By the power of the Holy Spirit abiding in me others will know I am Your disciple by the love I have for others. Holy Spirit teach me as I read the Word. Hide it in my heart so the love of God will truly be perfected in me. I pray I walk in the same manner as Jesus walked with full assurance that I am abiding in Him.
