Let us be intentional about being thankful to our Lord. Thankful for our salvation. So thankful that our heart overflows with so much joy that we can’t keep it quiet.

Thankful Praying

What a friend we have in Jesus. One so near who knows our wants and needs before we even open our mouths but listens anyway. I am so thankful He is only a breath away.
When I pour out my heart, He brings my heart to thankfulness. Thankful that He is big enough to handle the tears, fears, troubles and my confessions of sin. Thankful that He is a forgiving God and able to restore my heart and mind. Thankful for His peace and grace; forgiveness and restoration.

Anxiety replaced with peace.
Requests turned to thankful praise.
Yes, I am very thankful I have a friend in Jesus.

Always Giving Thanks

Why do you think it’s God’s will for you to be thankful?

A heart filled with thanksgiving will praise God. Psalms 7:17
A heart filled with thanks will be loving, giving, caring.
A heart filled with thanks will speak of the glory of God. Psalms 9:1

God uses thankful hearts. Are you thankful?

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. “Whatever is true.” What is true? How do we assess what is true? I believe we need to look to the One who is true.

The Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. . .¹  There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.²  He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true.³
