Joyful Faith?

Aug19

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
James 1:2-4 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/jas.1.2-4.NASB1995

who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.
Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their release, so that they might obtain a better resurrection; and others experienced mockings and scourgings, yes, also chains and imprisonment.
They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were tempted, they were put to death with the sword; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated (men of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes in the ground.
And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.
Hebrews 11:33-40 NASB1995

How is your faith in God?

Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Salvation Gratitude

Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls,

Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

Even in the midst of turmoil we can rejoice exceedingly with triumphant joy because of our salvation. We are headed to the promised land!!

30 Days of Thanks – D25

Nov25

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians‬ ‭4:4, 6‭ NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/php.4.4.NASB1995

Could praying with thanksgiving be a testimony to faith in God? Praying with thanksgiving is trusting God with the outcome of your supplication, your request before it is answered.
What happens when you leave the request at the altar and trust God for the outcome?

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

🌹Have a peaceful day, believing and  trusting with thanksgiving.

O clap your hands, all peoples;
Shout to God with the voice of joy.
Psalm 47:1 NASB
God has ascended with (amid) a shout, The Lord, with (amid) the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises; Sing praises to our King, sing praises.
Psalm 47:5-6 NASB

God our King! God is our Savior! He is worthy of our praises! Let us sing praises to our God, our King!

If we don’t, we miss out on the exuberant joy of our God and the earth will shout His praises!
But Jesus answered, “I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!”
Luke 19:40 NASB

Let the rivers clap their hands, Let the mountains sing together for joy
Psalms 98:8 NASB

Let all God’s creation join in with clapping hands and shouts of joy for God, our Lord, our Savior, Redeemer, Hope, Shepherd, and so much more!!!

🌹For you will go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
